Binding Use button to E ruins the inventory interface

    Hi!

Since the Mass Effect 1 days where E was the standard "use" button, I've used it as my Use/Interact button. As such I rebound Agent ability 2 to F.

In the previous patch, mod was still keybound to F, which was ok - no harm done and I got used to it. Now Mod is rebound to E, and it SHARES its button with "next page" (Q and E respectively). So now when I press E, it's 50/50 which interface is accessed (either mod or currencies/materials) and since both are opened, backing out of either closes the entire interface down.

Can we please go back to not rebinding the F key for the mods and all this will go away?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the report PrincessAsu! I have passed this on to the TD2 team. Do you have any screenshots of this issue at all?

I'm going to second this. I don't understand the reason behind hard binding keys to things. This move has royally screwed with my keybinds. Right now "Mark as Junk" and "Mod" are bound to the same key so I can't mark as junk anything, it just goes into modding the item.

I'm having the same problem with "Mark as Junk" and "Mod" being on the same key and not having a way to change it unless I go to a "use" keybinding I don't like.

They need to fix key bindings in general. I've been playing with broken key bindings since release. It's pretty annoying. I cant beleive the rest of you guys never complained before until they actually fixed one thing which was allow the 'mod' button to go with the interact key instead of hardlocked to F. But they never fix the rest of them... such as E still being bound to tab right instead of whatever your equivalent binding is.

Another one that I experienced that bugs me, I wanted to remap the tab key to open/close the map. When doing this however it breaks the "Quick key" functionality for breaking down equipment witch is bound to tab by default. So if I go into my inventory to breakdown an item by trying to hold tab it opens the map instead.

The problem is that when you are in the menu... some keys are remaped to the new setttings while still retaining the default command...

It's not just E or TAB or F.. it's the menu having defaults that don't change causeing your keys to excute the default command + your new bind when in the menu.

Also affected by these issues. It makes things very cumbersome in the menus.
