Currently 2 DZ are normalized and require the flag system
1 DZ (occupied) is hardcore no flagging with EXP loss and KOS

    My suggested changes....

1 DZ Normalized with flag system - (Great for newly geared players) gear drops 10 pts lower max IE 440
1 DZ No normalization with flag system - (Gives people the opportunity to test gear without being normalized) gear drops at "max" IE 450
1 DZ No normalization with no flag (hardcore occupied) gear drops at 450+ IE 452-456 or higher set drop rate when available

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't see the incentive to traverse the occupied darkzone. I don't feel like drops are any different and if I die I lose a bunch of DZ exp. This actually hurts the gear reward since once you level down you are not getting caches. I am not saying to remove that, but to have some sort of reward for all the risk taking. I love hardcore PVP I just want a reason to risk it for the biscuit.

PVE Players this thread is strictly in regards to PVP. I could care less about PVE in any shape or form so I am not trying to make any comparisons. I find no pleasure in killing AI / NPC characters to then go kill more bullet spongy AI / NPCs. It is not my cup of tea. I do respect those who prefer PVE though so I hope you guys find what you're looking for!

Please keep convo based on PVP

    Thanks,
    Lorhein
Friend do not try to talk with anyone about pvp or come hordes of npc killers will come to criticize ...

What a way to crucify the player who loves pvp ...

I find your post funny as h*ll!!! PvP players come on the forum and constantly flame PvE players in post that are about PvE concerns about PvP and being ganked and they are constantly crucifying them for wanting to just get into the DZ with out being slaughtered at the entrance. I play PvP games. And a true PvP game does not have ganking at the entrance or spawn point of a game. In them everyone has an equal and fair start and chance to kill. And it's the most experienced and best equipped players who do well. PvP in this game is full of lazy, immature players who can't compete in true PvP games.

To the OP; please try not to put labels on players that play this game. You are not strictly a PvP player either, you killed plenty of NPC's to get where you are now in the game, you are not selling to me that you didn't enjoy any of it.
I did not enjoy the leveling process. If I had the option not to participate in PVE content and leveled from PVP I would have never touched it. I play Guild Wars 2 strictly for that feature. Soloed the PVE experience including CP4 for all the blueprints and SP. Grouped once or twice to help a friend.

AI / NPC is boring to me and way too easy. I often fell asleep in the process. Agro NPC, find funnel, burn them down. Always used same strategy for 30 levels. One ability force you to change cover, a sniper, and some sort of rusher. Almost made me brain dead. I even tried using a controller to make it more challenging.

Once again I am not taking a shot at PVE players it is just boring to me. I have to run friends through missions now to obtain the exotic pieces for that stupid SMG so they can compete. I could sit here and complaing that "I'm being forced to do PVE in order to be competitive in PVP", but I don't because I don't cry about intended features. If exotics dropped in pvp that would be awesome! I use unusual builds to spice things up for PVP and don't generally follow the meta. My friends however sadly have to rely on gear sometimes since they are not the quickest shots

Players having loot tables would be an excellent addition to this game.
I couldn't agree more. Put some anti farming mechanics in there for abusers and that would be golden.

You must not of played darkzone much. You can not gank at the entrances or the turrets will auto kill you. The only way this is possible is in the unoccupied and which in that case you can fast travel to another checkpoint.

I am global elite in cs:go would you consider that a "pvp" game. Also hold gladiator in Wow. I don't know what matches your criteria for "true pvp game"

I do suck at R6 siege and usually sit in gold / low plat. Don't play it consistently enough to really get in the groove.

Main thing I would like to see changed in the darkzone is T to flag. This is completely stupid. They need to remove this as a feature and only allow people to flag at terminals, having your squad of 4 people run up on a solo and flag for pvp in their face is dog crap.

Might the same result the OP is looking for be accomplished by making no change to Normalized DZ gear drops and adding the '+10 Gear Score' to gear found within the Occupied DZ?
How do you all feel about marginally stronger gear being among some of the - arguably - most varied and difficult content the game has to offer; other players?
How should the DZ be incentivized for all players?

    Edited for typo.

    It's couldn't or could not ...
    could implies a positive

let's try a simple sentence: i couldn't give damn about whether you like PVE or not .... if i said i could give a damm about whether you like PVE ... then i would be lying and it also wouldn't make any sense.
