    Darkzone Change / Recommendation

Going to keep it short, but just some of my input.

Currently 2 DZ are normalized and require the flag system
1 DZ (occupied) is hardcore no flagging with EXP loss and KOS

    My suggested changes....

1 DZ Normalized with flag system - (Great for newly geared players) gear drops 10 pts lower max IE 440
1 DZ No normalization with flag system - (Gives people the opportunity to test gear without being normalized) gear drops at "max" IE 450
1 DZ No normalization with no flag (hardcore occupied) gear drops at 450+ IE 452-456 or higher set drop rate when available

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't see the incentive to traverse the occupied darkzone. I don't feel like drops are any different and if I die I lose a bunch of DZ exp. This actually hurts the gear reward since once you level down you are not getting caches. I am not saying to remove that, but to have some sort of reward for all the risk taking. I love hardcore PVP I just want a reason to risk it for the biscuit.

PVE Players this thread is strictly in regards to PVP. I could care less about PVE in any shape or form so I am not trying to make any comparisons. I find no pleasure in killing AI / NPC characters to then go kill more bullet spongy AI / NPCs. It is not my cup of tea. I do respect those who prefer PVE though so I hope you guys find what you're looking for!

Please keep convo based on PVP

    Thanks,
    Lorhein

quick question: since you get no pleasure in killing AI/NPCs, then why do you care about any of the darkzones where half of it is killing ai/npcs? Why not just go to conflict where its all pvp and no ai/npcs? Not being rude about it at all just wondering why choose the dz for pvp if you dont enjoy pve as well?

I am doing it to improve my gear and kill other players. I am not doing it to take on harder npcs. When I max a build I don't even bother fighting the NPC and just ruin others day when they try to extract. Conflict is normalized gear where everyone gets a participation reward. I am over level 30 and the same three maps spamming vector builds is boring. Darkzone is open world and I can enjoy sniping or messing around with assault rifles and outplay opponents. Also love face rolling full groups solo.

Yup I am a rogue. Yes I get off ruining peoples days. Love every second of it.

I’m sorry my friend but if your talking the DZs which are a combined pve and PvP area you cannot say to pve players they cannot comment. If it is about the 2 modes that are PvP only not a problem.

I think not however so PVE layers can and will have there say. This will not change until the said zones are made PvP only. Plus you talk about Hardcore PVP but you run in a area which includes PVE components so how hardcore are you really? So your not as hardcore as you think you are.

He's not a hardcore PvP player. Hardcore PvP players like a challenge and fight other hardcore PvP players. He's a gank queen who likes sheep to kill.

    Well said.

To the OP; please try not to put labels on players that play this game. You are not strictly a PvP player either, you killed plenty of NPC's to get where you are now in the game, you are not selling to me that you didn't enjoy any of it.

Maybe I'm missing something here? I just exited the occupied DZ 10 mins ago and all the loot I extracted came from Black Tusk patrols. I only saw one other player and we worked together for a couple of engagements but then they bailed -- it was a tough excursion to be fair.

I didn't ses any poodles trying to hide from the Tusk, because getting gear that way is harder than letting someone else do all the work for you?

I have no objection to your suggestion, but I have no objection to how the DZs are run now either.

How many slighlty disguised attempts to troll pve players can we see? Lots i bet. Dont loot lock anything, what do you care if its harder, hardcore pvp in that you lose, if you lose...it hardcore that way. It shouldnt concern you, if you're truly hardcore.
