(Genuinely asking, I don’t know how long the weapon positioning would take, just seems like something simple)
You mean the washing machine that pops up during the match versus screen? Because I didn't notice any teleportation devices floating around during matches. If it's an effect that pops up and floats around on screen it's not any different than any other outfit/mask effect that does the same thing. Aligning a weapon with the model being executed is an animation alignment related task rather than a freely placeable asset like an effect.

As far as my experience goes the weapon being displaced during an execution is usually caused either by uneven terrain such as executing someone on stairs or on a hill. Or it happens when your teammates push against your character as he is executing which physically moves them away from the person they're execution while the animation plays. In both cases it's not a bug per say, it's just how the software is programmed to register collison between solid objects (i.e. our characters) as well as the terrain bump mapping. It's just how their game engine works, until they find a way to refine it if they can.

If however it's a genuine glitch that randomly displaces weapons during an execution for no discernable reason, like making them float in the air suddenly, then they can fix that by finding out what's causing it.

I haven't experienced any new problems during the Day of The Rabbids myself. Just the same issues that have been there before this event. There is always the possibility of bugs happening but a 1-day mostly cosmetic-themed event does not create new problems of any significance since it's just there for 1 day and then it's removed. If events like these added new issues to the game every time then that would mean the game's code would need a major overhaul and Ubi wouldn't be doing these events as often as they do.
