Greetings! The Division forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game

I played The Division 2 for some months now without any hassle on PC (Win 10 1809, Ryzen 7 2600X, 16GB, RTX 2080 Ti with latest drivers 431.36). Since a few days the game is crashing constantly back to desktop. It always seem like the window is switching from fullscreen to the tight bottom of the screen. After a few seconds the game window is gone.
The crash happens sometimes after a few seconds in game, sometimes after a few minutes. Division 2 is unplayable this way. If you are lucky you can restart the game via Uplay, but after some restarts Uplay doesn't recognise that the game crashed and you have to restart the whole PC before you can try again.

    Same here

I am getting exactly the same problem and i have had only 20+ hours of game play and want to play this game but can not due to it;s total unstable nature. Example being yesterday i was able to get 2 hours of game play after weeks of not being able to load then today i just cant load it again. What happened form yesterday to today that drastically alters the game not loading? It sure as hell is not my PC!

Hello everyone! Due to how long this thread has been going on and the amount of different responses, I will be closing this thread since it is difficult to keep an eye on.

For any newer players, please read this post for assistance.

If you are creating a new thread specifically regarding the game crashing, please include answers to the following questions:
Describe in detail what you were doing before the crash occurred.
Did you receive an error message?
What kind of crash is it? For example hard freeze, crash to desktop, black-screen, system reboot, etc.
Were you using Dx11 or Dx12?
What other applications were running in the background?
Have you installed or updated any drivers recently? If so which ones and what version?
Are you using a Windows Insider (beta) build of Windows?
Are you using any specialized peripherals such as Tobii Eye Tracker, Third-party controllers, joysticks, etc?
Please also include either your support ticket number, or links to your MSINFO/dxdiag files.

If you already have a ticket open regarding this issue, you can send me a DM with your ticket number. Be sure your ticket includes what troubleshooting steps you've already completed, and the answers to the requested questions.

We apologize for any frustration, and really appreciate everyone who has offered assistance so far. Thank you for understanding.
