So Poison, Marine Craig, Alien Clyde, Alien Quen Red costs 1 energy? or just poison?Originally Posted by ItsJustBuck Go to original post
As a lot of people have asked, where is the the buff to pirate ship timmy?, and the buff to Poseidon Stan? Please be consistent with your changes, it seems very fickle on your part when you do this things, and as a coop user I say the changue to it is well warranted. It still will be playable, but it lends itself to be less of an exploit, (like non nerfed doguies are) I like that you take the time for balance changues, but there so few and far between and some uncalled for, and mostly not very consistent, Please Try To Do Better
So all the ladder sounds good. And if you think belf is op then you need to reevaluate your strategies. I bet the same people complaining about belf are the same people that will feed her 2 chicken coups + gnomes for dessert, then complain about her being op. Learn to deal with it, adapt. Same with fireball. Dont clump up your units ya ******. If you're continually having problems with the same cards maybe it's you. Every theme and deck has strengths and weaknesses. I swear most of the complaints I see are from people playing the same crap every time and get mad when someone finds their weak spot. I'm not saying there aren't op cards or themes, just to be careful what we ask these devs for. Look what happens, every time you nerf a card, all the other ones get stronger that's simple logic. You can't nerf everything into Oblivion redlynx, what you see on these forums are a distilled sample of the player base. Maybe instead of nerfing all the good cards, start buffing some of the weak ones. There's lots of cards I'd love to use but they're just too weak. That way people don't feel cheated especially when they have good money invested in the game and at the same time youre balancing the themes. The buff to Stan the great was a nice one. And like everyone else is saying, why would you just buff catapult and stg, and not poseidon and pirateship? It's ridiculous, you did the same thing when you only nerfed 2 of the dougies and didn't even touch the strongest one (engineer).
I'm glad the PvP rank system is finally improving, but we still need a better reward system for Challenges and balance changes for characters like Sharon(too weak), PF Dougie(impossible to stop), Incan(low damage), Alien Drone(high cost), Terrance & Phillip(ATK speed is too fast), Sexy Nun Randy (too much health) and quite a few others.
You guys are atrocious with the cards you choose and don't choose to adjust... Many cards are grossly underpowered: Sharon, Inca Craig, Alien Drone, buccaneer Bebe, Cupid, dark mage Craig, Mr Slave. And why is Transmogrify far worse than Unholy Combustion? Shouldn't an epic card be more powerful than a rare? Why doesn't the caster of Transmogrify get the rat and it gets a 1 level buff per level of Transmogrify? So if I kill a level 3 Mecha Timmy with my level 4 Transmogrify I get a level 7 rat? I mean a level 6 Unholy Combustion does 78 damage to everything near it. Enough to kill rats, pigeons, and gnomes of any level...
just a reminder to why people want BE bebe, because all you had to do was get it to 6, play it behind newkid/tank and pick off assassins, so had to play a more energy cost removal to clear it off, its broken. swordsman is a rare and makes up for the shambolic mess that is the rest of adventure, and is 5 cost, plus it beats a SNR :P
but the chickens were not the entire problem in the theme, GWC+pope? BE bebe? Amazingly randy, maybe having less clutter on the board will allow stuff to actually attack the randy now, I dunno but that was the bigger problem.
but seriously? when is T&P getting nerfed? Drone buffed? the cards no one mentioned getting balanced isn't what we want we ask for cards to be buffed and nerfed, yet its more ANNOYING cards buffed that no one asked for.
Coop nerf was badly needed - at anything below top 2000 legendary, a level 4 coop brings oppressive pressure, and even if you beat it, your units naturally bunch up which of course sets you up for the Fantasy fantasy. This nerf actually seems really big to me - I'll be interested to see what happens. Obviously Redlynx has playtested all this but I would have thought a quarter second slower spawn time per c o c k would have been enough. Also, Catapult Timmy is very underpowered compared to the other Timmy's so that buff makes sense to me. Not sure about the Stan "re-buff".
I'm interested if Skill Rating will follow the same standard ELO system that Legendary Skill Rating currently uses (with everything divided by 10) or will it have more things factored in. Regardless, the fact that your first week of Legendary will no longer be wishing to God that you had never got to Legendary is a major benefit to the system. I'm interested in how much derankers will actually be discouraged, but hopefully this will help. But some people just don't want to play competitively and would rather derank so that they can get easy wins with decks two levels above their opponents, and other than actually punishing intentional losses I don't see how you change that.
