Unable to initiate takeover | Forums

I tried to takeover The Vault checkpoint, at the stage when checkpoint alert level is unlocked, I called in backup by firing a flare and died. Upon going back there the friendly settlement NPCs were there, and it says initiate takeover in the top left corner. Their icon on the map said attacking, but I couldn't fire another flare or continue the takeover from that point. No further enemy NPCs spawned to attack. It was still an enemy checkpoint but with friendly NPCs standing there. Was on PS4 Pro.

To me sometimes happen when an enemy is hiding somewhere, or flee from the battle. That’s the last enemy left before the taking over is completed. Usually I just start to run around and shoot random bullets to make him move or so

Oh ok, so maybe there was one enemy activity nearby on the map affecting the control point still, or an escaped enemy. I'll have to keep an eye out if it happens again just to make sure.

And for some reason my ps4 pro doesn't upload to Facebook or YouTube with share, always fails at the end of the upload, seems be to an ongoing issue for thousands, but Sony hasn't fixed it. I have to use share factory and hope it feels like working, phones a lot quicker (:
