Some extreme weathers like sand storm can shorten my view range to one-tenth and I can hardly see anything while my enemies are like walking-thermal imagers and not be bothered by weathers at all. So what's the point? Make the game harder than it shouldn't be? At least enemies' ability of seeking should be shorten also.
Besides, the real light effect really causes me some trouble. When my character is under sunshine, the tunnels and some dark indoor areas look like blackholes on my screen and when I need to fight enemies in those places, it turns out to be such a pain because I can't see them and their ambience. I know it is trying to simulate how pupils work in real life, but that's actually suck.
For those instances, the solution is getting closer to enemies, but you know players can't and shouldn't do that in TD2 unless you are playing normal difficulty...
