Xbox one controller not working properly

Hello, so I've been having issues with my xbox one controller working properly on ACIII Remastered. The controller does connect, but, the controls are all weird. RT and LT move the camera left, the Y button is the B button, and the right stick opens up menus. I have found no fix on this or anything about this yet, so I just want to throw this out there.

I have exactly the same problem. I've had to resort to keyboard and mouse for now.
Come on Ubisoft, this shouldn't be a day one issue surely?

    Hey,

Are you using the Xbox One wireless controller? Does the issue persist when using a USB cable to connect?

Works great with the USB wireless adapter from Microsoft

For some reason with Bluetooth the game seems to be using the old DirectInput standard instead of the newer XInput standard .... It works fine with the Microsoft wireless adapter or using the controller with the USB cable

Best bet if you don't have the wireless adapter is to use the USB cable until Ubisoft patches it

FWIW, I am using an Xbox One bluetooth wireless and am not having any of these types of issues. I realize it's not a solution, but could mean there's a settings fix somewhere. If it helps, I run AC3RM through Steam and have Xbox Configuration Support enabled under Controller Settings in Steam's Big Picture Mode. I did not have to change any in-game settings or .ini files, either.
