This bug has still not being patched as of 20th August 2019 on Xbox One. What is going on Ubisoft? Both my recruits Duncan Little & Clipper Wilson are useless. They don't have any weapons and just stand there and let themselves be killed. The only good they do is when you first summon them. They run in and use their hidden blades, but once the guards start attacking back, the recruits don't do anything back to the guards. This makes recruits totally useless and desperatly needs a patch.

I did the same exact thing, which also fixed my issue. I bought and also crafted most of the weapons that I was able to make, and now all my recruits spawn with weapons.

You hav to own the weapon they are suppos to use
Don't know how it work but I thinks is what fix it in my case

Then use the covert escort, get into a battle and call for backup, it forces them to spawn with their loadout

I have the same problem, just got the game recently so it's still not been fixed.

Okey Ubisoft, its has been over a year now and my recruits are still weaponless. Are you going to patch it or not?
