Skill Power Is Almost USELESS in The Division 2

Keeping this post short and sweet. SP is pretty useless due to Normalisation taking away your hard work put into a SP build, mods and with unrealistic requirements and SP does not scale ANY of your Skill Abilities.

Skill Power should not only allow use of mods but should increase Skill Potency and Effeciency. I should have lower cooldowns and such too.

    Right now SP is POiNTLESS.

Agree with that. PVP players hate skills builds. Propably there is the reason. Mostly FPS players hate everything except simple shooting: tanks, helicopters, skills, magic etc bcoz they cannot win without old rooted principles from old fps games. Only hope in RPG players here.

Definitely bro, I feel punished in wanting to use some skills. Hoping this post can get a backing because Notmalisation also screws you over when using Skill Power due to mods by getting the same treatment and remaining at ridiculously high requirements.

At 450GS I need 7000+ skill power for my turrets mods, turret does 2k dmg per hit anyway so totally useless...

Make sure you guys check out the latest patch notes. We have fixed a few things as it relates to skills.

Its simple, if you are gonna hit skill power that hard for normalization then it needs to happen for weapon damage too.

    Dear Ubisoft,

I request further improvements to the skill system, and a reduction on cooldowns for player characters, especially against NPC's.

For me nothing has changed with that patch. I am at over 300 gear score, armor 80.000, health 40.000 and skill power 1.500.
If I want to use a mod on turret for example, my skill power should be at least 4.900.
What am I doing wrong here?

Skillpower for me is only relevant if you want to Actually use them as your main damage method. i'm now at GS 453 and i have some pieces that give me anywhere between 700 to 1000+ in Skill power, but those pieces most of the time have only yellow abilities, so you lose a ton of weapon, crit, crit chance, dmg to Elite, etc, etc. so if you want to use certain yellow mods for your skills you need to replace all armor pieces with something that increases skill power of have mod slots on there with skill power.

i run with the Chem heal launcher and the seeker mine, both have mods slotted but all are inactive due to the high skill power requirement, and the most give 30% added damage on mine or more mines at ones or uses, can't tell because i'm not willing to lose that much sustained damage on my weapons to upgrade something that can be used once a minute if you get more yellow cooldown perks/mods.
