No. The real Wellesleys did not have such heavy ribbing visible. I do not want to eradicate it. I want to reduce it. If I wanted to hide it completely, I could use sinus-friendly Liquitex Paste, which is my all-purpose "putty". Mr Surfacer gives me a headache!

Whomever it was who was looking for a P-38 in 1:32 scale awhile back might want to look at the beautiful Academy 1:72 P-38J. It is the finest P-38 in any scale because all the others, regardless of scale, have big problems of one sort or another. Here is a review with images of the finished model. It is very impressive.

My BE-6 project- getting the dihedral right was a major pain, and it still doesn't look right sometimes!

Commiserations on the Wellesley. As for Trumpeter, I was hoping for a 1/32 Blenheim myself.

Hurri is looking good LowFlyer. And your Me109 too JG2.

I have been making some figures, 1/35 French resistance made by Masterbox. Here are 2 of them.

Ladies and gentleman, may I introduce madame Isabelle and m'sieur Pierre, from La Resistance

    Pierre: Bonjour Isabelle!
    Isabelle: Bonjour Pierre. Ca va?
Pierre: Ca va. By the way my darling. I have a BIG weapon. It is enormous. I bet you would be happy if you could play with it.
    Isabelle: Promises, promises...

This Masterbox figure set is quite good. 4 members of resistance and a captured german officer. Just need to think what kind of diorama to build ... should it happen in town or in countryside, on the road or in some building?

Here we go for another step in the building report. Decals applied and drying. That evening the Tilda get a final coat of glossy clear to seal the decals. After that drybrushing, weathering, filtering and a leat a thick coast of desert sand.

P.S. I decided to have a rework on the drivers mirror. I scratchbuilt it with copper, bras parts and soldered them together (that was shi**y work accombanied by cursing)
