    dissagree

I love the damage they do. I found the story missions in story mode was just a walk through, the DPS makes you use the cover, play clever and fear for the loss of your character

Cover, skills, proper talents on gear and normal PvE gear ofc and you can beat everything. I dont know why ppl whining about WT4 its the same as WT1 if you get badass gear and weapon. Just use proper stuff and you wont be killed easily. Only got problems with WT1 since i entered with 254 GS, but after few teleports to CP and grindin for new weapon it became easy till the end of WT4.

Yeah, higher world tiers require higher levels of play. I know that this game will die faster than the first one did if they make the missions so easy that anyone can solo them and that teams can simply blast through them. Honestly some of these teams I match up with on challenge missions have gotten to the point where they know the map so well and the enemy spawn locations that Challenge missions are starting to become too easy as well.

But, no one considers that possibility; you know, of taking the time to learn the map and the mission and adjust your tactics accordingly. People always want to nerf it if it's too hard rather than rising up to the challenge, and this is why we can't have nice things.

It really bothers me that the nps's can sprint wideopen and shoot like expert marksmen and it seems like they all ways crit its not like im a push over with 175567 armor 32958hp but the problem is i hit cover and before i can get aimed on anything they have run around it and are pooring bullets into me

    You are not specific "Phil".
Alert 4 CPs are Heroic difficulty Elites meaning they do WT5 Challenging DPS (at least) and come with well enhanced armor.

Before suggesting the game is changed for everyone under the sun who, need I remind you, also paid for the game - you should be more specific about where and when you are feeling these sensations.
I like how you cite gearscore as if it means something, before mentioning "heroic" in Division 1.... what "missions", Incursions?
    12 people voted this up....
    How?
The Devs copped to basically hiding these WT5 Heroic NPCs in the game in various places, KNOWING that the are designed for top tier WT5 difficulty... When none of us can even come close to that, INCLUDING the friendly NPCs who all look like they came from a drum circle and soak dozens of shots in any other situation.
My point is, calling for nerf of this magnitude is not something that should be treated lightly, yet, casuals like you seem to think that because you feel some way - it's right. Hows about LABEL these NPCs that the Devs KNOW outclass us, so that when we get wrecked - the casuals don't take to the forums IMMEDIATELY to scribble about how the game is too hard?

I will say damage is fine, just maybe program them to rush less when they are so much hp

Alert 4 CPs are actually already heroic. So yeah, they hit like a truck. And yes, more people need to know this because they are literally tuned to be unfair by the devs own admission. It's not a good metric. That's why Alert 3 is the threshold for getting blueprints, because they do not want to lock any content behind heroic.

However, when grouping, mobs on challenging still hit way too hard for defensive builds or the shield to be effective. And they will shred most PC's in 2 seconds or less.

Most players will interpret this as "NPCs do too much damage" , and that's a viable way to look at it. It could also just be a group scaling problem, or a problem with defensive itemization. Either way, they do enough damage to where you are forced to play the game a certain way (not necessarily bad), but there really isn't an option to sacrifice something to avoid it, even if you are willing to build towards it (this IS bad).

    Seems fine to me.
The only issue is 4 man challenging / heroic. The scaling is weird.

Run with 2 or 3 players max and it should be just fine.
Only problem yet have been the Roosevelt mission on challenging, last stage.

And control points lvl 4 is a pain but challenging.
