I agree. Even when I built my gear for the healing or extra armor I get shredded by regular mobs and can't kill them. If I stay with my dps talents than I get one shot peaking up from cover and there is no middle ground. The game before could be soloed, you used to get better gear from the slightly harder stuff than you could try even harder stuff. That isn't playing out right now.
And especially when you try to take a CP and keep dying for an hour than take a few mins to tweak your gear and talents but than the NPCs take the point and you just got shafted of that gear. Not to mention that any other games that NPCs have to stay in an area or despawn after a time, the NPCs should be leashed to a spot. And if you want to go and think tactically how would a superior officer react if his troops left their post to chase someone if they weren't retreating. There are issues, we should be able to build for more armor and survive but that doesn't happen.

You can solo and cooldowns are no issue doing so. Yet thats just one build, a gimmick yes but completly viable. Not saying everyones complaints aren't valid, cause the games isn't about everyibe running this one build that can do it.

I've tried the build didn't like it myself, but my buddy the other night was running it while we were doing a CP 4 he was tanking and surviving it in a 4 man group. Spending most his time outside of cover, only going to cover to heal up when needed. Was rather dishearting to be honest, as im using a build I came up with, it works great and im decently geared but its like paper compared to what I was watching him do.

There are issues with scaling for sure. 4 player Roosevelt Challenging was a total nightmare at the end. The NPCs just storm you making it almost impossible to move to give distance. One shot from anything and you're pretty much screwed. Group of 4 of us were 450+ in this instance and the longest part of the mission was the last stage. 2 hours in and we had to give up. There's no tactics to them, they just rush you. I love challenging content as it feels like a worth while completion once done, like legendaries in TD1, but this is beyond a joke.

The only time you take damage really is when shooting from cover or being out of cover so frankly you don’t really need good heals to keep your Armor up if your getting melted by npc it’s because you made a mistake !

Div 2 is more mmo rpg style game play than division 1 so try and keep that in mind when playing

Few tips For not getting shredded

Patience talent you get 5% Armor back ever 1’s < can be buffed also
Armor on kill < can be buffed also
Clutch < small Armor return and hp on crits
Hive or fixer drive both great heals over time ... hive I prefer over drone
Chem launch to boost your already deployed healing skill (like a emergency boost when you drop below 25%)
Safe guard 150% healing upon getting kills
Rooted gun talent also healing buff
Armor regen (very small passive heal)
There’s so many ways to heal and buff heals now so use them in synergy!

you have to realise it’s no longer the same kind of shooter as div1 it’s more RPG mmo style
You need sustainable on going heal over time while you do your dps !

I see way to many people sat in cover having multiple enemies shooting at them and they just trying to return fire with no active heal over time !

Once you realise the way this games now meant to be played your realise the npc ain’t strong at all lol

Ever seen a 4man team stand out of cover and laugh while npc try kill them on challenge but can’t because all 4 got healing buffs active and all stacked healing ontop of each other ? Npc ain’t doing no damage
    Patronizing, much?

I'll tackle each argument you made and tell you exactly why you are wrong.

Okay. Yeah. Players need to stay in cover but that's obvious from the start. Nobody is dying at ENDGAME because they aren't taking cover.

Division 1 is actually more like an MMO than this game. Division 1 had healer builds, tanks builds, crowd control builds, weapon dps builds (Non-mage dps) and ability dps (Basically, Mage dps). Also, Division 1 had threat levels and mods/attachments that affected that. In Division 2, there's no way to create a viable tank or Skill Power build. So, how exactly is Divion 2 more MMO-like than Division 1. If anything, Division 2 is more like a shooter with gear (like Destiny) where everyone is DPS. Anthem is like a MMO more than Division 2.

Lastly, this was pointed by someone else but you specifically state "YOU NEED SUSTAINABLE HoT when DPS. That means either one heal ability and attack ability or someone that uses mostly Healing abilities. You literally are saying Build Diversity like Glass Cannons (Snipers), Off Tanks (Sturdy DPS), Tanks (Shield Users), and Mage DPS (Skill Power builds) are unviable SOLO. You are vouching for build stagnation, not build diversity. Go play Division 1 or more MMOs and try to re-post that reply with confidence of being right.

As for your last part, I'd be happy to see that footage. Video Capture is quite easy to use and understand these days. It shouldn't be a problem showing us this "easy gameplay", right?

Ah here he is to save the day. I guess no thread can be complete without you turning up, insulting someone and generally being an odious little troll.

I just ending 3 Challenge map with only 180k armor and 45k HP and ilvl 451:
    - Roosevelt
    - Siege of Spacial Administration
    - Capitol

So phil i have yet +150h on this game, you need to practice more this game to understand other mecanics

And i can confirme you, i see the difference when i have 160K set dps and my average set 180k and my full armored +200K defense set

SO please Dont touch the IA enemy, just rework the IA friendly npc ostage ^^
