When you're on the map screen and you move over a track with no contracts available, you see a bar giving a visual aid to how close you are to the next medal. When there is a contract on that track, you don't get that visual aid. I know we still see our current time and next medal time in numerical format, however that extra visual aid should really be present on every track. There's plenty of screen space to show the contract too.

Agreed, I noticed this the other day and wondered why it doesn't still show when there are contracts. Another thing I have noticed which bugs me in the same way is that when you pass a checkpoint it tells you how far ahead or behind your time you are like it allways has but it only lasts a couple of seconds in rising and then disappears. Would be much better if it stayed there until the next checkpoint like in previous games because you can't allways look at it straight away and you need to know how much faster or slower you were to help you improve otherwise there'd be no need for it at all. Not sure why they chose to make it disappear 🤔
