I tried to install the latest version of this MOD but for some reason it doesn't work for me. When I open the editor after installation nothing happens. The editor doesn't open but only a small window flashes on the screen. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? I verified the game files from Steam and tried to install again but it didn't help.

I'm now using the older version because it works for me. By the way was the bin_plus folder a new folder that doesn't exist among the normal original game files? I was following the uninstallation instructions but there wasn't any mention that should this folder be deleted too when uninstalling the MOD?

I am running v20200229 and was just about to update my version as well (is this where these exotic AI I've seen are coming from?) maybe I should wait??

EDIT: I went ahead and grabbed the latest 'Steve64b.FC5_Editormod-39-20200523-1590326619.zip' but when I start it up the version says v20200401 (April Fool?) it seems to run fine. Just confused by version number

When I try opening a copy of 'Apartment 202' by pb1 there's no wave one AI. I'm guessing they're part of the 20200523 version?

I think it has worked for others because no one has commented on anything. I wish I could make it work somehow because I need its new features.

I guess I do have the latest. Only on the startup screen do I see the v20200401. In the editor itself I do see v20200523 at the top. But I do not see the new AI I was expecting?

I've been 'releasing' some intermediate builds of the editormod. Due to the nature of some mods, I first want only a few people testing the waters before I open the floodgates for any weird support requests.

Anyone who wants to give the latest build a test spin can do so by downloading it from here. Please make a backup of any work-in-progress maps, as these builds are not final and the map may stop working in the editor when a new version of the editormod is released.

Finally I had time to try the installation again and now I got it to work. First I verified the game files from Steam. Then I installed the Editormod version 20200523. And then I still had to install the Steamfix which was found on the mod's website and it finally helped. Some nice new features are now in my hands!

One thing I noticed that doesn't work is the search tool. It can't find almost none of the transparency objects and I think it can't find all the visual objects either as I couldn't find as many fire objects as there really is. I think it finds all the normal objects but can't find many of the MOD objects. (I can find the objects if I search them manually from the folders.) Is this known issue and is there any fix for this?

Any object you can find in the folders should be findable through the Search.

I can't replicate the issue you're describing in my latest WIP build. If you want to try that one, it's here.
I also have another, more recent build. But it seems to suffer from bad performance as I crammed too much in it.
