    Garbage Dump Gameplay

After wasting the last 3 hours attempting a ******** mission in this game I've decided I've had enough. To hell with this impossible ******** game. To the people that enjoy this garbage - more power to you. I do not enjoy spending my free time in a ******** game that is not designed to be completed. I can't express how pissed I am at the difficulty of this **** game. The movement mechanics are dog ****, enemy AI is dumb as **** one second then straight up godlike the next - there is NO BALANCE between activities. Some are soloable and others are straight ********. **** this game.

Your frustrations are understandable. Many people are feeling the same, you can see it in some YouTube videos. Many people will try to come in here and say "gitgud" but that is not a solution to the problems plaguing the game.

The game was fun up to level 30 then it was ramp to WT4, which was incredibly easy, then suddenly dealing with over-the-top difficulty that isn't scaled to the player.

Many of the movement issues could probably be fixed with changing some controls in the settings, you would have to be more specific about the movements you are having issues with to be certain. There are some things like 2 inch impassible edges that you have to walk around and bugged stairs.

The game is fairly new, the scale of games in today's industry means that in order to meet deadlines then they will have to do work after release. Of course this is not an acceptable standard to the consumer but it is one that is weighted based on it's economic value. IMO, if they treated their IPs with more respect we would have better games and more valuable entertainment assets. Releasing a bug riddled game is more of a liability as it will hurt your future even if you got the money upfront.

Maybe you should expect less from the game and try to enjoy it for what it is and not try to get out of it what it cannot provide currently. If you have done all other content, aside from the daily challenges and Alert Level 3 control points, and you cannot find entertainment in the PvP or exploration then I can feel for you. It sucks that this is what gaming is now; broken, bug-riddled, and unbalanced.

Ill ignore the angry bits and reply to one thing. This is an ubisoft game. That alone tells you character movement is going to be absolute garbage. No ubisoft game has ever had good character movement or control. It always feels clunky and not at all snappy like it was coded by a first year game design student.

I don't know what to say about it. Up to WT1, the game is too easy if played in a team (because of the superior firepower and gadgets of the agents). Come WTs, things do get a bit more tricky, the enemies better geared and more aggressive, but I think that's how it should be. Getting better equipment and modding it properly should still allow one to get through with relative ease and, if not... use the "Call for backup" function, preferably before you're dead or dying (leading to first responder being dropped in the middle of a firing range provided by the - now reinforced - enemy).

At times the movement around the cover can get a bit unpleasant and your own drone a bit dumb, just standing in the middle of the battle zone - failin' to find a route to a designated target that's hidden behind whatever - but it ain't half as bad as you depict it to be

I like to see how CS/COD players with "platinum" ranks react to RPG or tactical games (TD2, ARMA etc)

Erm D1 had exceptional movement. It was praised from day 1 for its movement mechanics. It seems movement was changed to combat chicken dancing but all they really needed to do was reduce directional change speed and set movement speeds back to they were before 1.8

Yeah div 1 had good movement . They could have kept that movement and just did cooldowns or something to prevent the lag strafe .

I don't agree fully. While I have same kinda of complaint/dificulty in d2 i don't have problems with other ubisoft games, people are mostly replying that it is a case o tatics in D2. Well I would love to invite those fellows to play Ghost Recon with me, because in Ghost recon you have the real Tatics, and in this sense. U can croutch, laydown or even do what Division 2 only allow you to do, get cover. I am still playing Ghost Recon because simply of that, U can do real tatics.

If you address your comment not to ubisoft in general but rather the Division 2, I'll fully agree with you, in this aspect.

Of course, there's not tatics when randomly they spawn in your back, and your LAZZY turtle character, agaisn't the Flash super fast bullet proof NPC. You can't do much more than die. I know that's a hell of frustration.

In top of that, you are placed somewhere most of the times very far from the place u die (when u r alone or when the entire squad dies).

    You should adapt or die.
My 47 year old father that mostly play World Of tanks, Warthunder etc is doing this game solo and is on Tier 2 almost.

Please be mindful that we would like to gather as much feedback as possible, but that this should be put forward in a more constructive manner.
