I've seen this issue over the last 2 days. Some kind of menu sound or maybe communication sound is repeating constantly when in the game. When in the map, or the inventory or in the menus it goes away only to return when back in the game.
Here is a video of the issue happening when in a mission. You can see me entering the map and the inventory and the noise stopping, then starting again when going back into the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqkz_Bew38s. During this same mission there were times when the noise would stop only to start again.
I've seen a similar report but in the Xbox One Tech support forums: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...1#post14080067
Often I can alt-tab out of the game, wait a while and come back and it will have gone, but sometimes it will start up again.
Bump.

Maybe someone can identify the sound for us? maybe repeating that action will fix this.
Logged in again today and sure enough the noise starts again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_vt...ature=youtu.be
Its extremely infuriating and i'm hoping that someone can help at least identify the noise so I can try and repeat the action that triggers the noise to try and end this.
Hey guys! Do these steps help at all? It almost sounds like a looting noise. What were you doing prior to the noise happening?
Restarting the game does not help - occasionally alt-abbing out then back in will stop it, but it often starts again.
In my case all other audio is working correctly and this is happening on 2 different audio device drivers (Speakers and Headset) so I'm positive that reinstalling audio drivers would be a waste of time. Particularly since my 2nd character does not have any issue. It seems to be something specific to this character.
When the noise first started I was not looting; I was moving a bunch of items from inventory to the stash. Ever since then (2 days ago) the problem will keep coming back.
