Can't say I am surprised. Is anyone else?

Safe to assume "the team" only plans to let the noise wane, and has no real intentions for considering to re-introduce bombers and c4/wire spam, or other enhancements specific to Terrorist Hunt.

Good thing I moved on to other games.
    I'm certainly not surprised.

Since this game launched in December 2015 I only wanted to be able to also play lone wolf TH OFFLINE (without an internet connection).

This is still not possible even though the situations that are working offline are nothing more than lone wolf TH with fixed parameters.

It's beyond annoying to not be able to play lone wolf TH if you can't temporarily connect to the internet. It's dumb, and anti-customer. More so given the fact that lone wolf doesn't even give renown now.

Every time a lot of players asked for offline support for lone wolf, Ubisoft has had several "brainstorming" sessions with the "team" which were nothing more than letting time pass so they continue to ignore.

Now they made an intentional downgrade to the already crippled TH mode and ignore any requests to roll it back,

By enforcing always online DRM Ubisoft is up there with the most anti-customer gaming companies out there.

Remember that you're only perpetually renting this game.

Time to be honest about what really is going down...

The Six Siege Dev Team is mostly unwilling to invest resources to make new firearm models and maps at this point. Instead of creating new firearms for the new operators, they recycle from the ones already existing. Instead of creating fresh new environments, they prefer an easier option of remodeling existing classic maps (which unfortunately destroys them); they do this under the guise of "balancing gameplay" for PvP.

Does anyone really think they like making the effort to re-code the bombers and spam elements for all the Terrorist Hunt variations (i.e., classic, defuse, rescue, and protect) after remodeling an existing classic map? Heck, it is obvious they can't even be bothered to re-code the resupply crates to work properly across the different variations. The easiest option for them was simply removing the bombers and spam elements while deflecting the true reason with excuse they did it to appease the PvP community. If bombers and spam are no longer in Terrorist Hunt, then the problem of having to re-code them is solved.

Yeah, uhm...I don't think so. I am not longer going out of my way to help the development team. Not when the perception is "they can't be bothered" and removed elements because of it.

Feel free to let them know if you wan't though.

Along with other folks on this thread, I'd love it if Ubi would do a lot more to support those of us who love playing Siege for the PvE experience in Terrorist Hunt (now called Training Grounds as of Y5S1). However, I'd like to take a slightly different tact for one post and say thank you to Ubi for a couple of things. First, they've left Terrorist Hunt in the game and not replaced it with an aim practice/warm-up shooting range mechanic like in CS:GO. Despite the changes over time that have made Terrorist Hunt (especially the formerly-named "Classic" variant, now called "Elimination") more aim-warm-up-y, we can still play all four Terrorist Hunt modes and the core elements that made me love them at the beginning are still there. Second, I'd like to thank Ubi for the bug fixes they do make to Terrorist Hunt as resources and inclination permit. I watch the patch notes for them and take note when PvE fixes appear (like the ones for Operation Void Edge).

I have played since before beta, racked up over 27,500 matches, and compiled over 450,000 kills - all in Terrorist Hunt. I don't regret a second of it, and I have no intention of slowing down unless Ubi takes the Training Grounds away! Then I will be very sad...and find another game to play. But I'll probably still support the newly-reorganized professional competitive leagues.

    OK, now back to ranting...

nice to meet another avid Thunt player , this should be one of the most if not the one most awkward thread in the whole UBISOFT forums , more likes and support than any other thread even after beeing buried in this sub forum and still absolutely no feedback... sigh... , this tellls something about the way UBISOFT looks at us as mere wallets.

There are more avid T-Hunt players than you think, N3mB0t. My sister, a friend and I all play T-Hunt almost exclusively (barring the Halloween event, custom game modes, and some casual matches every once in a blue moon). And I'm sure there will be several others as well. Even if we're a minority there's millions of Siege players.

It's quite a shame that not more is being done on Terrorist Hunt, but the truth is I still enjoy it enough to be playing almost every day. Still, just the option of being able to mix attackers & defenders, or to optionally reinstate bombers, would be huge pluses.

I'm quite surprised we can't play defenders of T-Hunt Classic (aka Elimination) considering it's been clamored for years, and it fits the role of the newly renamed "Training Grounds" perfectly. Maybe in the future.

Also, talking about Renown gain, dead players get less points at the end and so less Renown because of that. So I can get Teamkilled by some Troll or Griefer or Jealous person when i have contributed enough to the mission, and now i get alot less Renown because i died till the end (To a Teamkill ). That is really unfair and unjustified and many of us play alot of T-Hunt to grind Renown and warm up.

so i dont know how much it will help, but i want to keep this post alive.

my ideas are pretty simple, as i think r6's code is about as easy to work with as kim jong un.
-all operators available all the time.
(atk and def are both open to pick from)
this should be pretty easy to do, as long as you can just turn off peoples ability (like dokkaebi's already is) since re-working people like mozzie to have a purpose would be hard.
this greatly increases the amount of fun/strategy without changing enemy AI
    -easier access to options
currently you maps and game types are completely separated from the game mode
increasing the number of enemies would be a nice option to have without increasing to realistic (which has AI problems)
more "custom games" type options, like HUD options, timer options and whatnot

i think the first one has more potential, since it requires the least effort.
i try not to think that ubi is just lazy and doesn't want to put any effort into this when they could be making some sweet sweet cash in the PVP department. but they don't seem to be very forthcoming with why they choose to direct their development time.

luckily some "core gameplay" reworks are in the roadmap for years 5 and 6. so who knows.

Interesting that right now lots of YouTubers, streamers, etc. are renewing a call currently for a firing range and allowing defenders to play in other modes of terrorist hunt for better training experience. Priest, Get Flanked and lots of others are actively voicing this right now. Considering this thread on terrorist hunt is the longest running and highest page count (plus actively recurring) thread on this forum, combined with the renewed calls by influencers currently I wonder if the dev team will ever actually do something about making terrorist hunt better?

Clearly there's significant community support and demand for it yet it's barely been touched since launch except to remove bombers and room o traps.
