Im going to call my .50 cal when i get it...
    bigtac-o.

I always liked the sniper rpg, but it never works due to it being to slow. I hope this gets figured out.

Have to agree that the .50 is a slight let down.

I have noticed a slight increase in accuracy when in cover, however....

Seeing as these weapons have replaced sig skills I was maybe setting my expectations a little high, but, WHY ARE WE STANDING WITH A .50 cal SNIPER RIFLE??? lol. I'm sure there is some rock solid special ops geezer the size of an elephant somewhere that can hold a .50 and shoot standing up, but the weapon should have come with a "Prone Position" skill or something along those lines.

When I think .50 cal I think of a shooter laying down looking through scope fixed to a rifle sitting on a bipod, not a chap standing upright shooting at a target 60m away lol.

But as for dmg, once I go the rifle up to full scratch including headshot dmg etc it hits well, but I agree getting a headshot from a realistic "Sniper" distance isn't easy.

And what happened to ye'olde' holding of the breath to stop the floating crosshair??

Agreed far as signature weapons goes the demolisher's AOE potential puts it way out in front. Have not touched the 3rd specialization

Just switched to this from the crossbow, and I really feel like this rifle is rather weak damage wise.

Sig weapons can feel really underpowered in harder difficulty missions.

I have been very disappointed with the TAC-50.

As a limited use "special weapon"...and assuming I am aimed dead onto a targets head...it should not miss 2/3 times. The 2-3 seconds it takes to reach accuracy needs to go. Even then..the accuracy need to improve. Also, base DMG needs a buff. If I hit a target...any target in the head with this thing...it should DIE...period...i dont care what kinda armor the NPC is wearing. As it stands, I have gotten lucky a few times and taken out a "BOSS" from a control point with one or two shots...but that is rare thing. Maybe reduce the ammo capacity to 4 or so and/or increase reload in exchange for making it hit more and harder.

While I am still using the sharpshooter spec...I almost never use the weapon. I do much better with regular bolt action and the sharpshooter passives. I do not think that was your intent.

Letting us use the digital scope we unlock in the skill tree on the tac-50 would help with it's base damage. I don't get why we can't use the scope on the tac-50, makes no sense.

    There, I fixed it.
