W10 has had a positive for some but it has not fixed the issues. atm we just need the fix that only Massive can provideOriginally Posted by Stevemann113 Go to original post![]()
I had some corrupted files, but still this is beyond annoying. anywhere from 5-60 minutes in i get a crash and ubisoft support on twitter never responds. links below. As for the crashes they're either random or i'll go in to adjust graphical settings, get slow down and it locks up always requiring a reboot. unplayable. also the msinfo exceeds the size for pastebin.

My game also crashes without any system error. No matter what I'm doing, whether standing still in game or running around. The game will randomly between 7 to 25 minutes intermittently switch to window mode and crash . All i get is the ubi screen to send a crash report. I never had this issue with a rx 590 that i was trying out or on my old 7870xt. I'm playing on vega 56. I tried everything from installing old drivers, disabling any overlay there maybe including ubiplay, undervolting...etc still no luck. Now the game is running on dx11 mode just to see if its going to help. I just logged in and went outsidemaybe it already crashed. It's really frustrating cause i really like the game but it's unplayable at the moment, for me and for anyone having similar issues. I'm even considering to rma the card and get something else. Maybe I'll go back to the rx590 cause never had any issues on that card.
So far game has been running without any crashes for 2 hours for the first time on Dx11 mode. I'll continue to test and see how it goesOriginally Posted by TR.DrunkSh0t Go to original post
they are getting more frequent for me. I had my first crash of the game before I even got into the game. Hit that first loading screen and crash. relaunched, got in played for about 5 minute and crash. tried again, 5 minutes and crash.
At this point I can't play the game at all. SO GLAD I GOT THIS GAME FREE WITH MY CPU. I feel for all of you who paid money for this trash.
*UPDATE*
Have run for over 3 hours today without a single crash or hiccup. w00t! All NVidia bells & whistles enabled, DX12, low latency... Ubi overlay enabled for FPS counter even.
TL;DR = increased RAM voltage by 0.02v
As mentioned earlier I just built a new box:
-Threadripper 2950x
-GSkill 32GB 3600 (4x8GB quad channel)
-EVGA 2080 TI FTW Hybrid
-970 EVO 1TB
-ASRock X399 Taichi
-Enermax 360mm CPU rad
When building I went into BIOS, set to XMP and let it be. Everything running great even with AMD's PBO enabled and a decent OC on the 2080. Hitting over 15k in 3D Mark Time Spy (2k) consistently & Prime95 ran for 4 hours just fine. RAM at 1.35v as rated.
Constant Div2 crashes caused me to test everything I could find on the Interwebs without success. I had been leaning toward my complex RGB setup: Corsair iCue for both lighting & fan curves, Razer, Logitech, ASRock RGB, EVGA LED, G.Skill RGB & HueDynamic capture agent. No adjustments made much of a difference (although I still can't run G.Skill RGB or Aura to control my RAM because of Easy Anti-Cheat).
Experienced several crashes to desktop, but also 2 crashes with BSOD that got me thinking. Back in the day when trying to OC, BSOD was usually because under-volted RAM. I went into BIOS, added 0.01v and saw another crash. Added 0.02v and things stabilized. Temps even dropped for both CPU & GPU while in-game. RAM at 1.37v but happy. Div2 feels rock-solid now.
Seems this game may be extra sensitive as other games were running fine. Maybe it's quad channel, maybe this board under-volts, maybe this RAM just likes more juice than rated. In any case, at least for now, it has stopped the insanity. Will try to post more results as further adjustments are made.
