    Already on sale, huh?

So, only a month after the release the game is already on sale on Xbox Live for 25% off. Hm... Not sure I'm happy about that.

Having a broken game of which I can enjoy less than half it' scontent due to a grind XP wall. Little to no response from the devs or publisher. Now adding the feeling of having overpaid by 25%. This thing is starting to spread a Fo 76 vibe. ;-)

Appears to be the norm this gen, that and developers sabotaging their own products. :/

It's on sale for all platforms because of the Ubisoft Spring sale. And yeah, it sucks, I do feel kind of scammed.

Exaggerate much? "broken game" and "enjoy half its content", yeah right. People have 100% of the content unlocked in about 15 hours from starting the game, just by playing the game.

The XP wall is killing me. I really cannot be bothered to do it. I am sick of the challenges too - do they keep appearing indefinitely?

I don't have much time to play so just want to play a few tracks then leave it.

I don't mind paying full price for this game though. We need to support the devs. You were obviously happy paying it at first so why complain now? You should be happy that others might now play it too because it is cheaper.

There are 425 contracts with 24 different modifiers and requirements. Just play a few of the ones that look easy, fun or challenging and you can gain a full level in 10 minutes.

And on top of that, I already spent more then 15 hours in the Editor, and then there's Track Central content from others.

Multiplayer since Season 1 gave me up to 15000 xp for good session, levels go by fast if you play well.

So? The game design is still fundamentally broken! I stand by that statement. Just because other people enjoy doing the same boring things for 8 hours. Good for them. I don't. I have my real life chores for that. I don't need that in my free time, that is supposed to be enjoyed.

But I get it, you like this game and will defend anything about it. As you do in every single thread in this forum. Enjoy! Seriously, I'm happy for everyone who get enjoyment out of this. But don't tell me what I have to like or not!

Anyway, I just realized I just tried to argue with someone on the internet... LOL

It hasnt sold hugely well, probably because since Ubisoft claimed RL they have forgotten what made them famous in the first place. Rising was their chance to gain back the following they lost after Evo, and the tracks do that. The stadiums, xp wall etc are Ubified and people are bored of all that mobile game nonsense invading every game. These forums used to be a community that devs got involved with on a deep level, now its mainly arguments and people telling each other they are wrong about everything. RL lost their way, but are successful and probably made a lot of money along the way, which they thoroughly deserve imo. I do think trials has devolved away from what made it special, which is a shame because the tracks in rising are some of the best ever. I often log in, see this map full of icons, and think ah f*ck it i can't be bothered to navigate this, and play something else. I dont regret buying the gold edition, even if i paid redlynx £200 over the course of their library it would be fair for the hours I got out of HD and Evo, I suspect most of the 300k or so players on rising are the hardcore fans as well, but i guess they wont win over many new people with this awful progression system that is literally being slated everywhere this game is mentioned. The stadiums are all but universally loathed, as is the map, xp system etc, which will put people off , and a sale might help to persuade them.
