It's TOO dark at night/inside buildings.

And it's not a case of just turning the brightness up on my TV. Which it is by the way. And the backlight is turned up to 100 also.

It's just too doggone dark. You can't see anything. I hate doing missions at night because you literally can't see where anything or anybody is. Please, there's got to be something done about this.

There is a bounty within a subway that I get dropped into a lot from match making. Everyone just shoots the nameplates because you can't see anything in the dark tunnel. I have, however, always complained that The Division was too bright and would be perfectly fine with dark levels and a flashlight attachment.

Yes I have found the same yet the NPC's can see and have no problem shooting you.

Same..and same for everyone i play with. None of us can see much of anything once night falls unless there's a light nearby. We end up shooting the ground to see the invisible thing we've run into.

This is one of the many things that is making me hate this game .. night is black in a lot of places .. even where there is light it is black. and it needs to be fixed... Then in tunnels when it is night it is darker in tunnels ??.. why would it be darker when the daylight does not reach in to the tunnels ??? ..

I have the same issues then at night when a storm it's I have to just sit and wait it out at night it is just unplayable with it being way to dark no matter what settings get changed in game and on TV it don't change anything I'm fine with dark I mean wildlands played well at night splintercell was dark but could still see around you like most games this seems to be a texture issue be sure even when daylight outside and you go to walk inside a building it turns extremely dark till the streamline of textures show up and catch up it feels the game engine as some issues with night time and dark textures not working right after dying one too many times at night my agent turns in for the night and waits out the darkness there is some work that needs to still be done in the game I have ran into many invisible walls and on was on some stairs by a control point to be exact seems it was not fully tested before beta and release 😒 other then that it is a great game love it like I did TD1

If they could just insert flashlight on our weapons. Then i wouldnt mind if it was pitch black and fighting with only flashlight.
Well not all the time but in sewers and under ground.

I'm so glad I'm not the only person who thinks it's too dark to enjoy as a video game. In reality maybe, but not gaming.

Go to game settings, crank brightness up and the contrast up a little.

Gamma correction is what you need folks. Sadly there is no option in game but you could look at the settings on your video cards to see if you can increase the gamma. However, that will also effect day time visuals.

Id say its time for new monitors, and I hate it when its that time.
