sorry dual core CPU's are not supported your too far below the system requirements with a dual core CPU

    https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us...3-mhz-fsb.html

    # of Cores 2

    see http://www.pcper.com/news/Processors...scape-Shifting

    and http://wccftech.com/death-gaming-dual-core/

you also need a video card better then an Nvidia GTX 460 or AMD HD5850 with at least 1 gig of dedicated Video Ram
*Note Direct X 10 class video cards will not work *

your GPU (video card ) as a GT 710 also also unsupported ( a GTX 460 is way faster and supports more pixel and vertex shaders and has better memory bandwidth )

only Nvidia GTX graphics cards are supported ..NOT GT cards

    Far Cry 4 Minimum Requirements
    MINIMUM
    OS: Windows® 7 (SP1) / Windows® 8 / Windows® 8.1 / (64-bit only)
    Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel® Core™ i5-750 or 3.2 GHz AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 <--*note* both are Quad core CPU's
    Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 (1 GB VRAM)
    DirectX: Version 11
    Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
    Sound Card: DirectX-compatible
Additional Notes: Windows-compatible keyboard, mouse, optional controller.

    RECOMMENDED:
    OS: Windows® 7 (SP1) / Windows® 8 / Windows® 8.1 / (64-bit only)
    Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel® Core™ i5-2400S or 4.0 GHz AMD FX-8350 or better
    Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon R9 290X or better (2 GB VRAM)
    DirectX: Version 11
    Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
    Sound Card: DirectX-compatible
Additional Notes: Supported video cards at the time of release: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or better, GeForce GTX 700 series; AMD Radeon HD5850 or better, Radeon R9 series.

Note: Laptop versions of these cards may work but are NOT officially supported.

you can try to upgrade your CPU as there are several quad core CPU's that may work with your main board .. but you'll have to check your motherboards manual ..and you may need a bios update to install one ( a quad core CPU )

for a vid card yea ... sorry your gonna need a better one ..

you can compare a GT 710 to a GTX 460 card here (hardware wise )
    http://www.pchardwarelinks.com/video.htm

again sorry ..but your PC is too far below the min system requirements to play the title

no problem man sorry i did not have good news for ya

but here is some .. i ran the game fine with an old core 2 quad Q6600

you can find these CPUs pretty cheap now a days and they are also socket 775 so it should fit your motherboard

check e bay just saw one there for under 10 bucks

    http://www.computechnologiesinc.com/...php?prod=SLACR

i overclocked mine to just about 3 ghz (but you'll need a decent motherboard to overclock )

ran Far Cry 4 on that with a old AMD HD 7750 vid card for about 6 months .. then upgraded my vid card to an AMD R 9 270 X vid card

you can find an AMD r 9 270 X 2 gig GPU for under 50 bucks

That file mentioned in the error message should automatically generate when you run the game. Try deleting it if it exists, the game will create a new one & load.

If not, maybe the game can't write to that file location. Check the folder's permissions and/or run the game/uplay with administrator privileges

Hi, I have the same problem, but sometimes i get it to work.. it loads up and when i get to FarCry 4 - "Press any key" it goes black as soon as i press "any key, mouse or keyboard" and the computer gets black screen and "locked, crash", cannot go back to windows, but i hear the music from the game. Cannot alt + Tab to windows or ctrl +alt + delete either.

What i have tried with login in on both steam and Uplay, checked that i am online with a webbpage usually load up Facebook and log in there.
i have tried to start the game from within steam and thruu uplay, and vice versa...

It only works sometimes but often it goes blackscreen.

and when it works i get to load screen where i can choose to play online or offline.. when this screen gets loaded it works..

I have no idea what makes it do this.. but it is most annoying since i have to push the hardware reset button and retry until it works.. it can take several tryes..

    - How can i solve this most annoying problem?

    Best regards Lars-Åke
