1. If me (level 8), and my 2 friends (level 1 & level 2) want to play together, and they join my map will they see all the stuff I’ve completed/captured and my pending missions as well their pending missions on the map?
2. Will enemies be the Level I am or will it be the average level of us three? Will it also depend on what part of the map we are in?
3. How does loot work? Can we all loot a given enemy after we kill it or can only one person loot or? Will the loot we pick up scale with our level or will I have to pick up low level loot or they have to pick up high level loot? What about containers?
4. Once we stop playing together and go into our separate world will the progress sync?
1. From what I've been told it goes by "Session Owner" in the social section of your menus. (This means whoever was the initial host, not necessarily group leader.) So if you started playing alone and invited them in, more than likely they would see your progress. Could probably get it done for themselves but I hear conflicting things about this.
2. Co-op here actually has a sliding power scaling system this time around that takes into account the highest powered player. If you are 8 and your friends are 1 and 2, it will virtually (note I said virtually, they are still going to be 1 and 2 when they join you) increase their power level to approximately 7. They will see their levels, but next to them they will see an arrow pointing up, along with the number 7. This means while they are playing with you, their power has been increased to give them a fighting chance. Enemies will remain the same level as if you were playing solo.
3. All players are given a copy of randomized loot when one drops. Any container you loot will have their copy of loot dropped for them on the floor. Loot scales according to the level of the person receiving it, so no worries on if they'll be able to use it.
4. By progress sync I assume you mean "will they have the activity done". See point 1 if this is the case. If you mean rewards like XP and loot, yes, they can bring that back with them.
1-) Yes, the player who joins a "host", will see the host's map.
2-) The level of enemies always match the higher level player, there's a "co-op buff" / "level scaling", where you will be granted the same level as the higher level.
On Division 1, higher level player would "carry" low level player which would die for any bullet, now both can play thanks to that co-op buff.
3-) The loot drops for all players, except for crates already opened by one of the players. The RNG still do the magic, and the level is matched with the player..
I just don't know if the loot opened by friends/clan host before someone get into the session, will be avaliable for who didn't opened, after that person leave the host lobby.
4-) Yes, whatever you do on a clan/friends session, is given for all who participate. It wasn't before, but they patched.
