Sorry Disneyadventure for the short input, was juggling a few things at home.
Should have said, applying armor whilst running away for your life. When you reach the world tiers things step up a bit, well A Lot and there's hardly time in a fight to stop and heal with the hordes of relentless enemies raining down on me. To even that score it would feel nice to be able to heal whilst retreating to cover or just changing cover. You can recall your skills whilst running so why not healing, it takes to long and you can be rudely interrupted when doing so by somebody that wants to see you dead.
A little break from running out of bullets and the enemies seeming too have an infinite amount would be appreciated as well
Thanks Floppinger26 will give the crafting a try.
I'm a remembering correctly that in TD1 you could heal on the fly/run?
Maybe the applying armor could be an extra armor sort of skill that means if you want the highest level of armor you have to stop and apply but if you just need a get me out of hear I'm going to die have a cool down shot apply to get you back in the game.
I think it forces a certain type of gameplay as it is, and I'm ok with that. Getting caught out of cover is one thing, but just standing there until you die is something else. I hardly ever use repair kits, since I get to cover as soon as I know the pain is coming, and a few taps of Q heal the holes in my butt armour with the healing chem launcher. If you are dying in the open a lot, you are being too aggressive, and you might also benefit from equipping the launcher with the rez ability to give you one more chance to hide.
GL!
Yes there is skills you can use but when in the tiers it's freaking hard to use cover and plan the attack as it was in 1-30
It takes too long to apply the armor when being grenade'd from 3 locations and flanked by 6 others, and when you do try to it stops each time you get hit then pops you to standing up and game over, it's really slowing the interest down to that you cannot plan an attack in the tier's levels cause once you fire off a shot, no matter how much falling back you do it's near impossible to keep on top of things, it's just an all out free for all plus if you do fall back too far the chance of running into a group of spawning enemies going about something else adds another 5-10 ways to die and you are surrounded, outnumbered and outclassed.
