    Will dlc be level locked?

Will a specific rider level be required to access dlc tracks, when released?

I only ask as some friends of mine are around level 60 and do not wish to progress any further due to having to grind to open the next set of tracks etc.

If then, there is a set requirement, such as, rider needs to be level 100 or completed all Stadium Finals etc, unless they're prepared to grind it out they won't be able to access content they have already purchased. I knoiw this practice has caused major issues with titles like Destiny 2 etc.

Additionally, with the dlc's being thematic, will there be track challenges opposed to/or as well as contracts?

If it will be same as in previous games than you dont need to be specific level. DLC in previous games started from easy tracks again.

A player has to be a certain level to unlock things in Rising as unlocks aren't solely medal based as the previous games were though which is why I've asked the question. To do the dlc's as the same as previous games they'd have to change the system for them.

Out of Fusion's dlc's Fault One Zero and Red Lynx vs the All-stars also have easy tracks, rest all start at medium.

Wait, your buddy is level 60 and doesn't want to play any more because of the grind. Surely they unlocked an entire set of Hard tracks like 5 minutes before? I doubt they could have played those tracks more than once each if that, to be stopping at 60.

Maybe the first dlc will be locked until you've done 300 Contracts and the second dlc locked until you've done 400 Contracts :-)

5 of the 8 friends I convinced have had enough.

I got them to play Fusion, being so close to Rising's release though they opted to get that and going off Fusion's content they got the upgraded version. Obviously, the assumption was made that stuff would unlock via medals as before.

They've had to grind a bit to get where they are and they're sick of having to replay stuff again, again, before they can get to other stuff open. They just want to get on with it bud. Different horses for different courses...

If it is of contracts, I'll be wanting my tenner back. With me losing my progress twice, I haven't done any contracts.

I enjoy the Contracts. I've done 280 so far. I've always enjoyed playing the tracks in different ways, with different modifiers, bikes, etc., going back several iterations to the first Donkey and "no lean" and "wheelie" style Achievements. Trials is Trials. It's not only about shaving fractions of a second off a course.

That really sucks you've lost progress not just once but twice. Can you backup saves every so often to help counter that?

Thank you for your response :-)

I appreciate that there are obvious restrictions on the release of information, I just thought confirmation of no level or low/mid rider level access for dlc content would be a positive point.

I know, I've had my grumbles on here about Rising. Personally, it just feels to me as if the Ubisoft open world template ala Steep, The Division, Assassins Creed has had too strong an influence in Rising. Not that, that is too bad a thing, I'm generally a strong supporter of Ubisoft games, (have most of them) which is why my disappoint comes from Rising having so much untapped/unused potential.

Whilst there are 2 themed dlc's on the way (description on Xbox Live store) I would be happy to see a track challenge dlc as well plenty of variety though instead of samey contracts. That may rub some people up the wrong way. However, with the amount of content in Rising already, I wouldn't have an issue, personally.

I don't mind the contracts, (idea or concept), but after 176 (before I lost my progress first time) it was the samey execution and no meaningful context that did me in with them. As I've said elsewhere, I can do flips on any track, yeah, it makes you play in different ways but doesn't give enough incentive to once the Extremes are open. The Helium and Donkey are great fun but again a lot more could've been done with them.

I would've like to have seen less contracts and more bonus tracks like the Ninja Tracks etc, break things up a little. The Ninja tracks are ace, reminds me of Ice climb etc, a bit frustrating that after all that hard work to get there, they then have to be unlocked individually.. let people have a go.

Rising is a great game, don't get me wrong, but so much more could've and should've been done with it. Perhaps, Fusion has spoilt me too much as to what a Trials game should contain. Ultimately, Fusion's optional stuff is just so varied, fun and skinned in so many different and interesting ways, Whereas, Rising's contracts get samey after a while and bring nothing new to the table by comparison.

I never think to back up my saves due to the data sync.
