    Yes and no.

    Depending on the game coding it may have to do a snapshot of the current area/mission and save it. Be it server side or SQL db. It would be exploitable even if server side. They would also have to account Storage and server side resources for these extra snapshots/saves just like your PC or Xbox would for a local game. Now imagine 3000 plus people doing this. If you know VMware saving 3000 snapshots is a major no no.
