I did more digging and testing and the issues is with Uplay. Every game that I have that is in Uplay crashes. I tested steam games, and not one crashed.

Randomly having problems since today too. 50 hours of gameplay without freezes or crashes but today it just froze and kicked me out of my mission. Since then I'm completely unable to play. Freezes before getting the character selection, sometimes after 2 minutes of playing.
Reinstalled windows, updated drives, tried every single solution on the web without success (Dpi scaling, troubleshooting from Ubi etc.)

Me too. It started today. Game has freezed many times. I have to shut down game in Task Manager. So annoying.

I think you might be right. I came across some weird behaviour last night. I had the freeze while playing The Division 2 and had to kill the process in taskmgr. Straight after this I ran 3D mark stress test as I was getting paranoid that the issue was hardware related, surely enough the stress test failed part way through with the same freeze and the same event in the system events - at this point I thought my GPU was toast, I restarted and ran the same stress test which passed 5 times in a row with scores over 98.5% (97% is a pass). I repeated the process again but this time rather than restarting between the 3D mark test I just closed uplay. Lo and behold 3D mark didn't fail. I'm trying not to read too much into this as computers are irrational.

In relation to the above I've made some changes to my uplay client today, one of them was disabling the in-game overlay and the other was lowering the priority of the upc.exe process, since doing this the game has been running for almost 2 hours without a problem (touch wood).

If a member of the Ubisoft team or community could let me know whether the uplay client was updated around the 20th of March that would be great, as prior to that date I had no issues whatsoever.

Forget that, it froze again. Out of ideas and pretty exhausted of dealing with this now, it would be nice if Ubi could give us some form of update in regards to the crashing and freezing issues.

I did several testing with other games and they do not crash. Only games that crash have been the one that deals with the Uplay client.

I've opened a case with Nvidia as well as Ubisoft to try and get some answers.

I can still play division 1 from the uplay client without any problems but only if I play the division 1 first. Div2 requires that I repair the easy anti cheat before any session but it's just a matter of time before it crashes to the desktop

This memory leak issue is still happening.

It results in lower fps/fps drops/freezes(after a longer gameplay session)

Doesn't appear to be a memory leak on my end. My game can crash after 5 mins or 2 hours and task manager doesn't show excessive memory usage (also using intelligent standby list cleaner).
