The rockets of every Santa Blanca Helicopter I deploy shoots at something on the horizon
No matter if I zero in on an object with the cross hair or auto zero's in on enemy vehicles and Helicopters,
the rocket fly way over their heads towards something on the horizon.
Anyone experiencing the same thing?
Yesterday when using the Military Chopper (Cobra) to escort el Pulpo to the airport, the rockets were shooting at the horizon regardless of what I was targeting. This caused me to fail the mission and upon respawning and summoning another chopper, it worked as expected.
This is the first time I’ve seen this and I used the Military Chopper extensively in the last few months to fast track to Tier 1 with two different characters.
If it wasn’t for Mike’s post, I would have said this bug must have come along for the ride in SO4 as that’s all that’s changed recently for me.
If this is taking place each and every time you use a SBC rocket helo, then I suggest report it in the appropriate platform tech forum as a bug. If you get a response most likely they'll ask for a video or screenshot(s). They also might ask you to re-verify your game files (don't know if that's limited to those using PC however).Originally Posted by nexor63 Go to original post
I used the same helo just two days ago however, for the TF challenge, and had no issues.
Which helicopter control scheme are you using @nexor, the classic controls or the alternate? I'm wondering if the saved defaults have mixed something up there, because in the classic the rockets flew in line with the chopper fuselage whereas in the modified control scheme with the cross hair and target lock you can fire at angles.
Might be worth swapping the control schemes back and forth and firing rockets on both sets to see if that clears the error. Just a thought, I've no idea if it will help.
This happened to me back when I was grinding tier mode on main campaign SO2 I think. Only thing that fixed it was to completely exit game and reboot.Originally Posted by nexor63 Go to original post
