Only 20 different contract criteria ...

So for those still slogging through the 400 + contracts hoping theres new types, let that hope go. After finishing all contracts there are only 20 different things each one demands, in varying amounts and matchups. This is what causes these to be so boring and bland. Im really hoping the DLC packs and future content is a little more creative with its contracts. And i know this is a minor issue with all the game breaking stuff going on, but still a huge deterrent for me. I also know RL are a massively creative bunch, so im still keeping my fingers crossed!

I am still pretty early, but I assumed it was going to be far less than 24 types. That actually makes me more excited about contracts lol.

    @ Scruffy

Variety to me resides in what a game requires a player to do outside of how they would normally play the game anyway. Therefore, I'd discount 1-7. 14 and 16 to some degree as none of these require anything outside of normal play. In context, go through the track to get the best time possible.

Fusion has 15 different challenges in it's first 5 tracks - Greenhorn Grove and discounting the skill game.

In context, flip, flip + zero fault, don't release the gas, no leaning, endo, stunt and wheelie, other challenges (Knock the Turbines out, Stomp the Flowers, Wormholin, Complete a level in 3d, and the 3d maze puzzle. Additionally, there are 3 Squirrels which are in level mini challenges.

I know the min-game challenges aren't everyone's cup of tea but they at least added variety and offered different things to do..

I don't hate the contracts, contracts are fun in small doses, but offer little variety to the game; meaningful only due to xp requirements for unlocks up to the Extremes. Additionally, Rising is the Trials 4th game but classes as a sequel to me as I've only played Fusion, in view of that, Risings contracts contain nothing I haven't done before and far less variety than it's predecessor.
