    Can someone explain why I get constant FPS drops in multiplayer?

    Ubi / RL, can someone please explain what on good god's earth is happening with the game?

    When I play multiplayer, I get constant massive frame dips down to 30s, heavy stuttering, inputs get eaten up in all that, I'm doing multiple faults on easy tracks just because inputs go haywire from the lag.

    I've already turned every single gfx option to low / off and this made the game lock 60 fps in singleplayer.

    What exactly is going on in multi that causes the performance loss?

    I'm already on hardware that meets and exceeds the recommended requirements. There is literally nothing different going on on the screen, I have ghosts turned to 0 opacity and 0 distance in single player as well.

    Can someone please explain why playing multi is somehow MUCH more taxing and causes frame drops to unplayable levels?

    Are you talking about online MP?

    If so, I wonder if they are using ye olde lockstep method.

    It's everybody that plays on console with a lot of people in their game that gets lag (not sure about pc, probably depends on how good pc is). I have the xbox one x and IT even has FPS drops in multiplayer. You want every single person that owns trials rising on console to file a case with your "Support Team"?
