I just stated playing ND yesterday but I haven't seen any birds except some blue looking bird that doesn't attack. I loved it. It was a pain sometimes but I still loved it. I have one video playing Primal where I was fishing and a npc was shooting a bow at the bird. He missed and got take out! LMAO. Then some woman got picked up and carried away. She was at least 50 feet up before the bird dropped her. FC 4 I saw one Eagle pick up a cow and take it away.![]()
There is nothing bad in Birds Attacking.....But, as usual, Far Cry developers will overdo with that. Even Assassin's Creed developers know what measures are (only too much goats around)...but developers of Far Cry do it to the fullest. Idea of a danger from the sky, bird or plane, helicopter attacking, is rather good. We should have a threat in all natural elements: water, under the water, by fish, piranhas, moray eels, crocodiles...on the water, by enemies, and from the sky as well. The problem is - how often! Otherwise it turns out so...we are crossing the river, enemy attacking us, we dive under the water, to escape the bullet, big fish start attacking us immediately, than we run out to the river bank - into the clutches of a bear, fighting off bear tenderness ...we are wellcomed by enemies' bullet rain. Such super-action may be good....several times. But when it happens almost always in Open World exploration...I think, nothing good. It starts irritating. Willy nilly people begin to remember other Open World games where they could relax a bit. And this comparison won't be in favor of Far Cry. Moreover, Far Cry is tight. Everything is close. Animals, enemies, locations....We need more Space in the game. Expance. It will help to solve the problem of super-action also. (People who tried Cyberpunk2077 say this is the problem of the game. Lack of space. You take a car and arrived already. Too fast. Everything is close. Game doesn't give you the feeling of space.)
On the FC4 forums I was one of the ones that mentioned it would be more realistic if they only attacked when you're near their nests, and Eagles tend to nest pretty high up.Originally Posted by rmjdesigns Go to original post
