I just hope they know that for some people the bug is permanent.. when they said something along the lines of "its an annoyance but you can just relog" during the last state of the game my jaw dropped... it's permanent for some people, messed up 100% of the time regardless of how much you relog--I wish they would acknowledge that.

I know for me it's been permanent. Never touched the Barber, and somehow I still got mauled by the invisible plastic surgeon.

To clarify, it's persisted across several logouts, console shutdowns (xbox), AND me deleting and reinstalling the game.

You mean like the "state of the game"? Where the communicate whats happening, and what their short term goals / fixes / etc are? Where they addressed this specific issue?

All I did at the barber was remove a scar, because it looked a lot more over-the-top (seriously, the scars in this game are kinda absurd) than I thought it would. Didn't touch hair at all.

My character looks Gollum's love-child. It's seriously off-putting enough that I'm contemplating a new character, and I'm level 29. C'mon, guys.

Ubi, can we just have the barber disabled until this is fixed? I'm afraid to even unlock the NPC.

What did they say about it?

In the prior to last "State of the Game" address, (Not the March 27th one, the one a week prior to that.) It was brought up, but during the address it was stated that if you see your character's facial features change, simply log out and back in. They did not mention the Barber in the address. They also made no mention of it in yesterday's (March 27) "SotG" address.
As of patch (1.07) this issue, at least for those already affected by it, has not been fixed, as far as I'm aware.

I've put more than 150 hours in game now. Suddenly one day my character decides to change all of a sudden. Don't know how or why. Haven't been able to relate to him after that. As he's a completely random person now.

The SoTG was again today. Still no word on this bug? Can we get some acknowledgement that the devs are trying to figure out a fix for us? Or that they have some other solution? I've been really impressed with the game and how the game has been handled in the 35 days. But the responses on the forums about this bug, or the responses to the tickets, are just horrible. Support just wants to close the ticket. Some information about this being worked on would be helpful in easing the frustration around this issue.
