    Recalibrating workshop crafted items (replicas)

Doesn’t seem possible. I made a vector at the crafting bench but when I take it to the recalibration bench the option to recalibrate is greyed out.

So essentially that renders the crafting bench redundant if I have to go and grind until I find the weapon I want instead of being able to craft one.

    Any ideas?

Anyone? Why can’t workbench crafted items be recalibrated?

It would eliminate the need to farm loot for either a weapon to calibrate, or one to sacrifice for calibration. Crafted weapons are meant to fill gaps in your gear when drops aren't being kind to help keep your GS up. This is an intended and honestly a need mechanic.

Yeah it's intended but I'm not fan. I have to farm crafting materials anyway so not sure how its any different than farming gear. I see the crafting bench as pretty much a waste of time at this point.

It will primarily be used to craft certain exotics and gear set pieces, as well as gear mods. Itll see a similar role from the first game: very useful during gearing up, less so at the end game.

Eh I don't know about that, I rolled over 100 Lightweight M4s in the first game to get my perfect PvE and PvP guns so it served way more purpose end game then it did gearing up. Random loot is fine for increasing gear score, but when you hit max you are looking to min max. Having another avenue to do so outside of loot drops was nice. That's gone now.

Weapon mods don't have qualities or levels. Their bonuses are fixed across all weapons, and you only craft it once to unlock it. Once it is unlocked, you can freely mod every weapon you have no matter where you are in game an unlimited amount of times. There are no longer weapon mods that drop like they did in Div 1.

Gear and skill mods, however, do drop in open world and have levels.
