I can launch multiple online games that are heavy in graphics while streaming Netflix and I have no lag issues but this game? I put it in low graphics, with nothing else running and it still lags. The in game connection status indicator even says it's got a poor connection to the net. I've prioritized this game and this PC for internet and network connection via my router. The only thing I haven't done yet is dedicate a port to it.
I have the similar issues. With every single patch my performance drops by quite a few frames.
At launch on 15th with everything on Ultra/High where applicable and with Depth of Field off (hate the stuff) everything ran in mid 80's occasionally dropping to high 70's or jump to low 90's.
After first patch everything dropped down to mid 70's and as before dipped down to 60's or jump up to 80's. Now with the recent patch all my fps went to hell.
Game runs in high 60's and low 70's, then jumps to low 90's just to fall on its face to mid 40's for no reason.
And the best part is that after latest patch I have some odd freezes and stutters, oddly enough always when I'm engaged in combat.
I run the game in DX12 on i7-8700K @ 3,7GHz - GTX1080 - 32GB Ram
Identical specs, no on going issues. What are you using for sound?Originally Posted by Lex_Ravenhart Go to original post
Hello.
Sorry, but your "post your specs" is irrelevant if we are talking about the memory issues. I browsed this forum a little, because the game is unplayable for me in current state and I found guys with 32GB RAM and still facing such issues.
For clarity, my PC matches your official minimal requirements for the game, and no, I absolutely don't expect to play the game on higher settings than minimal, considering my PC does not match recommended specs. However it seems like my CPU and GPU could handle proper framerate even on higher settings than I have currently (everything on absolute minimum, except resolution of course - full HD), but the problem really must be in memory. The game runs fine for like 5 minutes, then it starts to lag seriously for random durations, exactly the behaviour I would expect when my PC is trying to free up memory so new assets can be loaded in.
You fixed some issue with skills, quite quickly - great! But for me and many others this issue is more critical than that.
Have you tried DX 11? Looking at he support forum, lots of folks are having issues with DX12. The devs asked for additional info for those having issues.Originally Posted by Rudalpl Go to original post
My biggest gripe with this game is the latency. I can tolerate the low graphics but the connection to the servers is ****. I can hold on to a movement button and release and the character will still move. That's the crappiest part. Especially when you're dealing with multiple NPC's and your character is unresponsive.
It's not my connection and it's not my PC. Fix your game Ubisoft!
