Now I got some new gear and bike parts from multiplayer crates, and those don't seem to reset.
However my Contract/Pre-order gear and most gear/bike parts I gained from crates in the 1st week does still reset.

Still happening to at least gear or bike parts from Contracts and Pre-Order Bonus.
Including Helium Turbo Bike exhaust.
It all worked in the first week of the game. (and this is seperate from the full inventory or loading wheel issue)

Still happening after patch :
Gear and bike parts from Pre-Order, Uplay, Beta, Contracts still reset to default/unequip on restarting the game.
Bike parts affected include Engraved Rhino kit (pre-order), Horned Light (Pre-Order), Helium Turbo Bike exhaust.
Gear includes Uni of Trials, KTM, Ubisoft, Redbull, Elite Rider gear etc. basicly everything not found in crates.
Again it all worked fine and stayed equipped the first week of the game.
After that week , challengers stopped appearing on map
I narrowed it down that gear from crates doesn't seem affected.

Yeah I've just had to adapt a few pieces so it doesn't keep changing =/

Adding DLC Football gear to the list of gear that resets on game start.

Thank you for the extra information everyone.
I can see that we have received multiple reports of DLC and other extra content resetting upon restart.
I have passed this information on for further investigation. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Started since patch for me. Honestly I've play a lot of games and I've rarely seen a sloppy patch than this. This clothing bug is just one of the smaller less annoying ones. Replays broken and I also get horrible frame rate drops and stuttering on occasion that only a reboot will fix. Never had this since launch. I get that patches can cause issues when doing multi platform content, but honestly how much testing did they do with this patch? I don't get how some of these were not seen.
