When I load into game, I immediately try to put my game into Fullscreen mode at 1440p 144hz (what my monitor is). When I do this, I sometimes get a freeze in the game. My cursor will still move, but the "Apply" button stays highlighted and I cannot click on anything else in-game. Also, on the occasion that it does actually switch to full screen, my mouse is still thinking it is windowed and will go off the screen mid-game. The cursor does not show up on screen, but if I move it over to the right enough, my character eventually stops turning and my cursor shows up on my other screen. I am running Windows 10 (64-bit) on an Intel Core i7-8700K, 16GB (2x8) 3200MHz RAM, Samsung 860 Evo NVME SSD, and an EVGA FTW3 Ultra RTX 2080. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys! One workaround from another player was to lower the priority for TD2 and Uplay to Below Normal. Can you clarify if this helps at all?
