I can also confirm the same, wasted several keys on this bug. Is this related to the bug fix that addressed loot boxes that people were able to loot several times - i.e. supply drop and and loot crates? I feel this is something that makes me want to stop playing the game until it is fixed. Videos will show an empty loot box with a waste of a key, what do you plan on learning from that?

Thing is that this cache and only this cache drops exotic weapon blueprint, so people cant craft weapon becose bug.

yea im facing the same problem since 4 days.the box is empty since 4 days and i couldnt get any thing from it.thats weird atleast there should be an item when u open it but nothing.

I had same problem until i found out, everytime you open a cache even though no loot drops it resets the timer so now you have to wait another 24 hrs i waited 2 days for it to fully reset an it worked also by jumping into a friends game also resets the timer so beware of that when doing that mission. ; i think dev's need to add a display timer on it or dont let the people that open get anything in it unless its reset so it doesn't consume key until it actually resets.

Edit: seem the timer is reseting everytime u open chest even when you dont get nothing that is a bug this shouldnt be happening.

I have exactly the same problem but in every mission, and also with weapon and armor caches, and sometime with ammo and material chest too. Team mates can see the loot and take it but for me nothing show and i can take nothing.

yeah that what was happening with the caches an did some research on the hyena caches an that video states that even if u open the cache or weapons or gear caches it resets even if u dont get nothing just be wary of that when playing with friends until fix i guess

Well, after maitenance i tryed again, for test i opened weapon right behind hienas cache and got nothing, started to think they still dont fixed it, but to be sure i sacrificed another key and opened hienas cache and got loot with blueprint... so i dont know if its fixed or what, well i got my blueprint so good luck with yours guys.

I can confirm this.

I saw people saying that if the weapon cache next to the hyena box is empty to not open the hyena box because that will be empty too.
I can say that the Weapon Cache next to the hyena box is NO indicator if the hyena box is also empty.
I went there today , opened the weapon cache and it was empty. I got frustrated and just for the heck of it openend the hyena box and the blueprint was there.
