100% GPU Usage while Idle with Dx12

Every time I boot up and play Division 2 the GPU shoots up to 100% usage, but when I close the game, it stays at 100% even when my computer is idle and nothing else is running. I've checked it using Trixx and GPUz and it shows the usage, power draw and core clock are all really high (temperatures are holding at 60c). The only way I can get it to come down is to completely shut down my computer.I fixed this issue by turning off DX12, but now I get lower FPS in game, and it doesn't look as nice when it's going through cut scenes, so I'd really like to turn Dx12 back on.

https://pastebin.com/A8FtPLDr <~DxDiag I tried to use pasetebin for the MS32info thing but it says its exceeded maximum paste size for non pro users.

Bumping this post up, because I have not seen an answer anywhere online yet, and it's not as I assumed directly tied to Dx12, you can still have this happen with Dx11. Rolling back drivers to nonbeta version has stopped it so far, but then you have to deal with the game crashing and having weird visual glitches.

I have this exact same issue while running DX12 on my system as well.

Before running TD2 system is normal

After running and shutting down the game on desktop idle:
    GPU 100% Load
    GPU Clock stuck at MAX
GPU Temps elevated due to high clock freqs held and voltage draw

I have found that if i go into the Task Manager and end task on "Radeon Settings Host Application", the weird GPU load immediately disappears and things return to normal.

Radeon Adrenaline 19.3.2 - XFX RX 590 'Fatboy'

I actually think this is more of an AMD Driver issues rather than a TD2 DX12 issue.

Either way, a resolution to this issue would be fantastic as the game looks amazing in DX12

**Side note** ZERO issues while running the game in DX12 on 1080p in Ultra settings - Averaging 120 fps in the uncapped benchmark

Hi guys! Please note that bumping is against the forum rules. We are attempting to answer as many forum posts as we can.
Are you both able to submit your MSINFO and dxdiag files over a ticket? I know that Pastebin as a size limit.
We strongly recommend doing a clean reinstall of your GPU's drivers regarding this issue. We also have these PC steps to try. Players have also found lowering the priority of Uplay in Task Manager has also helped improved performance in TD2.

    Exactly the same issue

I have the RX 590 XFX Fatboy and i'm having the same issue. It only happens with The Division.

I've tried playing with Radeon settings and the in game settings and the only way to fix it is to reboot.

This has to be a Ubisoft fix?

"dx 12 is known to cause crashes in certain setups/configurations rn. you need to play on dx11"

    Fixed it...

FWIW 60 hours into the game, playing in DX12, no crashes. Not a single one.

I haven't had a single crash on Dx12, and I've only had 1 on Dx11 and it was only after I rolled back drivers to try and fix the GPU issue, not a crash Issue.

Hey thanks for the Reply! I will definitely try closing the Radeon software next time it happens to see if it helps! Also, I don't know if you saw but staff suggested we submit a ticket.

I went and tested this and you're right it immediately disappears, but also if you right click on the amd system tray icon, and switch graphic profile from 'Balanced' to 'Optimize performance' it also gets rid of the weird GPU 100% Load issue.
