Hello Agents,
Today is a big day for us with the launch of Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
At Massive Entertainment and in our partner studios, we are committed to providing you with the best gaming experience possible.
During both Private Beta and Open Beta, we have been humbled by the numerous suggestions, comments and reports you took the time to share with us. Your invaluable feedback enabled us to bring thousands of changes, fixes and improvements to the full game since the beta phases.
All of these modifications are included within two Title Updates (Title Update 1.0 and Title Update 1.5), both of which were released when the servers opened for early access on March 12th. We will be publishing the patch notes for these updates in the upcoming days for you to get a fuller view on what we have been working on.
In the meantime, the entire team will keep working with dedication on everything reported to us. We have made our known issues list available on our forums, and intend to keep it updated as you continue to share your comments with us.
As we learned over years of live development with the first game, launch is only the beginning. We place the health of the game and the quality of your experience as the priority in everything we do. We are making a long-term commitment to keep refining the game based on our discussions with you throughout the entire lifespan of The Division 2. We have already started that process as we issued Title Update 1.6 yesterday, the patch notes of which can be found here.
We hope you and your squad will enjoy your journey into the world of The Division 2 and we're looking forward to hearing from you. As such, we invite you to join the conversation, by sharing your comments, feedback and questions using #AskTheDivision2.
Thank you,
Julian Gerighty, Creative Director, and Cristian Pana, Senior Producer, on behalf of The Division 2 development team.
I have never felt more rewarded in a shooting game; Additionally, is the best looking game i've ever played on PC.
It can be super difficult at times, but that is something to cherish. Grinding and upgrading until you win.
Runs great for me on low slider (80fps 1080p). Worth every penny and more, totally upgrading my edition a.s.a.p.!
Game of the year material.
Im having problems with my game....two missions wont complete one is an propaganda where i need a manual key but none of the enemies dropped one so now its stuck in limbo and the other mission is on the story line(Worksite Community) i started the mission helping the guy out and when i followed him to the big wooden door the game froze so when i turned the game off and turned it back in i collected him as a completed mission but the actual mission isn't done so now when i return to the mission it starts off normal but when i enter the crane area there are no enemies and i cant get into the door to go inside the building to finish the mission....and 3rd the drone's, turrets are not working properly they disappear when deployed....
Big thanks to the entire Massive Team!
This has been the most enjoyable game I've played to-date (and I've been gaming since the Atari 7800). The immersion is unreal and all of the Easter Eggs you've added in this time have been an absolute joy to find! ...just wanted to add that this was the first game I've ever pre-ordered and I ended up buying the Ultimate Edition because the betas were so much fun and TD1 was so replayable.
Thanks again and looking forward to what you add in the future!
PS - Would love to see more videos with your art team and some more insights into how you managed to include so much detail in such a short dev cycle. Very impressive you've managed to create such a world when other companies take a decade to release their sequels.
Definitely a HUGE upgrade from The Division 1 in terms of content, graphics are just as amazing. The soundtrack is also outstanding Ola Strandh is the man!!! Once this skill bug is fixed I don't think there is much else that needs to be overhauled (in my humble 24 levels of playtime).
Actually negative nelly, some skills could definitely use some upgrades as well. Seems that seeker, turret and the shield are amazing offensive tools, but others are meh.
Keep up the great work!
