The distortion effect needs to be removed from general menus or have an option to turn it off. It gives me a headache looking at it and it adds nothing to the game. Replace the distortion with clean transitions for the menus and it will be much better.
The disrupted effect from the first game caused much less strain on the eyes. Personally, I would much prefer that to the current distortion in open-world areas and missions that use it.
Feel exactly the same but assumed I was alone so didn't bother mentioning it.
But yeah, I often flick between the menus and have to look away for a second to let it calm down. To a lesser extent the warning signs of a Hunter nearby give me the same discomfort.
Appreciate any improvement that can be made.
I think they removed it from when you go to the actual inventory screen (except if you go there directly? I always forget to long-hold the button), so it only does it when you initially open the menu. Better than every screen, but yeah, definitely still annoying. Maybe just cut the duration in half (or less) and only on the initial menu open (like I *think* it is now). So it keeps the effect for game lore, but isn't too obscuring.
Please allow this to be turned off it is annoying and messes with my eyes!Originally Posted by rikakiah Go to original post
