Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy them, uh... it.Originally Posted by BridgeToClarity Go to original post
I'd be interested to know your age-group though. I'm just wondering if you're a younger generation gamer who has no patience, or an OAP gamer who can't handle a challenge (I'm guessing the latter).
I just don't like flying or driving around when it had nothing to do with the story or anything else in the game. If I was going for a platinum I would have done them.Originally Posted by St.Million Go to original post
They are side quests for a reason and they tie into all the Clutch Nixon references NPCs give you and they are symbolic of the ridiculous things bored country people do for fun under the influence of liquor. I could relate to their real world relevance very easily despite being very poor at actually completing them.
I didn't feel that at all. Maybe if they showed a few npc's doing a CN stunt while I was free roaming I would have felt that way. The CN part just put my mind out of the game. I was thinking - Why would I be doing some stupid stunt when I have a cult and every other thing out there to deal with. I wouldn't be flying around like it's Disneyland.
The Seeds confiscated all the liqour around the county. The only people left in the county are the resistance and some people who very much seem to be disinclined to do stunts or get wasted in a crisis. In fact if there is anything important to do in the county from milking cow balls to blowing up bunkers they have you doing. Oh except Hurk and Sharky, and they do all their fun country time lemonade activities with you.Originally Posted by BridgeToClarity Go to original post
The thought 'it's game, it's meant to be fun' never crossed your blood brain barrier?Originally Posted by BridgeToClarity Go to original post
Sounds to me like The Bridge To Clarity done been burned.
It sounds to me like you can't accept an opinion that differs from your own. Have a nice life.Originally Posted by iGame3D Go to original post
Unfortunately, the lack of CN missions in 'New Dawn' suggests to me that Ubi have already listened to the whiney vocal minority and decided to play it safe by omitting them. Which means we can probably assume there won't be anything like them in FC6 or future games. Sadly.
If there's one thing I've learned from FC5 it's that modern gamers REALLY don't like it when games are even a little bit challenging. "There are too many spawns!", "Jacobs trials are too hard!", "the Clutch Nixon missions are too hard!", the intro truck escape is too hard!".
Waah waah waah...
