Something wrong with the stats joining a buddy? | Forums

I'm lvl 30 and i join a friend who is lvl 9, i join him. He and the NPC's are cranked up to lvl 29? but his stats are still at lvl 9??..... LOL my buddy dies insta with one bullet. And the gear he get is lvl 9, while i get lvl 30 gear. I could understand if he joined me, but this is just wierd. And when i leave the group/squad and he is alone again on "his" server, the NPC's stay at lvl 29.

Yes this has happened in our clan - group was fine till someone hit 30 then we all started getting 1 shot - damage we did seemed to be fine just the defense didn't seem to scale right with a lvl 30 in group.

Been playing with my friend since he was lvl 1 (joining his game), I'm lvl 30. We've had no issues so far and hes already 16. He takes and dishes out just as much damage as I do but he does not have as many gear bonuses as I do since I'm in full purple/yellow gear and hes still in greens/blues.

I think thats a bug. Coop normalization should balance everything out afaik

the gear drops will only drop for the level that you can use so your friend can only get level 9 gear. that is how they want it to be
