Hello Community.
When El Yeti First appeared in Year One, I had completed all challenges. However, at some point all my save data was lost from this game (thanks ubi****) and I've had to start over.
I have tried 3 times now to do the Yeti challenge, but no matter how many times I do it, I do not receive the El Yeti Face Paint.
I have followed 3 different guides to achieve this, but it simply doesn't work. I kill El Yeti, get his Ghillie Suit... but no face paint.
Can anyone help me?

This is how the rewards were distributed when the challenge first appeared:





As you can see in the second image, players -- at the time -- did not receive the face paint directly by killing El Yeti, photographing / interacting with his body, and picking up the consequent rewards bundle, but indirectly by completing Season 1 Week 6 Solo Challenge 3, which coincided with said events. That solo challenge has since expired and is no longer the means for obtaining the face paint.

When the El Yeti challenge returned, the White Weapon Paint was added to the rewards bundle received after killing El Yeti and photographing / interacting with his body. However, the El Yeti Face Paint was not. This is how the rewarding has subsequently remained. Currently, the El Yeti mission is available at any time upon interacting with the handprint blood-stained rock at its respective location.

IIRC, I received my El Yeti Face Paint through either a Prestige or Spec Ops Crate. You should be able to click on your locked El Yeti Face Paint, and on the top-right of your screen, it will identify the working means of procuring it.

Although I do appreciate your response, unfortunately this doesn't help me.
It says on the top right, the only way to get it is by challenge, doesn't even say you can get it with prestige crates like other items. I've found all the secret spots etc. still nothing. Why would they leave it in the list of face paints if you can't even get it in a crate?
I have all El Yeti paints for guns, for backpacks etc.(including 'white') just no face paint.

I think I got it in crates after missing the challenge.

OK, I did some digging for you.

If you missed the initial Season 1 Week 6 Challenges, there was another opportunity at the end of Year 1 (Sep. 11, 2018) in what was called the All-Star Legend Week Challenges:



If you look at the Task Force Challenge, said completion rewarded you with the "Legend Pack".

I found one of my previous posts which listed the contents...

Task Force Challenge "Legend Pack"

● El Tio Face Paint
● El Yeti Face Paint
● Predator Face Paint
● White Weapon Paint

Therefore, WRT "El Yeti" items, by participating in the subsequent All-Star Legend Week Challenges and:

1. killing El Yeti, and photographing / interacting with his body, I received the El Yeti Ghillie Suit, and the El Yeti Pants.
2. the community completing the Community Challenge, I received the El Yeti Patch.
3. completing the Task Force Challenge, I received the "Legend Pack", which included, among other items (listed above), the El Yeti Face Paint, and the White Weapon Paint.

This, therefore, is how I definitively received my El Yeti Face Paint, and not through a Prestige or Spec Ops Crate, as I originally assumed.

What remains constant from my initial post is, you cannot receive the El Yeti Face Paint by simply killing El Yeti and photographing / interacting with his body. You never could. It was incidental on Season 1 Week 6 by completing the respective Solo Challenge 3.

A simple solution to my above post would be for someone to put in a request to have the "Legend Pack" added to the Store's Limited-Time Offers rotation pool, and get a number of thumbs up to get the attention of staff.

As I stated, I already have all of the items in the "Legend Pack", however, I will support a request to make them available for others who missed out on the first two appearances.
