Gold medals is almost irrelevant in the game, as you are forced to repeat same level over and over again to progress.
Too grindy and repetitive for my taste.

Repeating levels is of course nice, but not when it's forced to progress.
That's not the case. You can replay tracks for XP but the best source of XP is Contracts and MP. And contrary to various negative posts about the contracts, they aren't all flips, there are actually about 24 different types of them. Some are fun, mixing up the gameplay. Some are easy. Some are challenging. There are over 400 of them total. If you enjoy doing them, as I did, then there's zero grind. Anyway, I read that they're changing the progression system imminently so tracks unlock much faster, so it's all moot anyway.

DNG-Daos - Did you even read the post? Medium tracks are barely in Risings MP... How is that the same?? Also there was waay more hard tracks.. I have 240 hours in Fusion, I know the differences and I'm not wrong.

You needed to play Fusion more, i have 362 DAYS on fusion. Played more MP than prob anyone, Top 5 on all 26 seasons, #3 Hall of Fame. Hard tracks didnt show up till after almost 2 years in MP and thats only because they added Career tracks. The track selection is fine in Rising and if you'd watch the streams you'd know they are working on match making so tracks will show up for your level. If you're stuck with a silver rider its really not fair that they'd have to play a hard track so just be happy you have MP at all for now.

Thank you for the information. So it isn't as bad as i heard read then, and it's still great that they are improving the progression system.

If people stop bashing the game and let it grow they'll have the funds to keep upgrading it and get it to where it needs to be, but if all you kiddos keep *****ing because you can't be a god at a game that you didn't develop then you shouldn't be in the trials community to begin with, accept you're **** and the game isn't and move on

I agree with some, but they aimed for casual market this time and is why some flame it.
Swearing make you sound like a 9 year old writing a post.

It's always a gamble when devs aims for the casual market which they did with Trials Rising.
The sales will take a hit on fans of the series, and the sales from casual market may not sells as many copies as they lost due to changes.
Battlefield series took a hard hit on sales too when they aimed for casual market, and instead of fans of the series.

If everyone liked the same games, all games would sell 100's of millions each.
Trials Rising is changed a bit since previous ones.

When it comes to sequels, don't tell me Mass Effect Andromeda were a worthy sequel to the first 3.
Sequels aiming for the casual market have ruined many franchises and many franchises is gone because of it.

When that's said, i will buy Trials Rising anyway as i own all previous.

If you want more? Urban Trial Playground were released on PC a week ago, and is sold dirt cheap. It's the third in the series and is not a clone of Trials, but in same genre.
I bought any game similar to Trials too.

You know, I am the last person to bash a game by its release, but...
The release was on the 26th of february. They have provided us with 2 Patches that should have fixed most problems.
But instead of fixing bugs they have implemented new bugs whcih are even worse in my opinion.

On the Switch version, with the latest Patch applied:
    - Old Replays are broken (camera getting stuck, can be hotfixed by watching a replay with a non-default camera setting).

    - The Trials Rising Splash Screen (where the game tells you to press any button to log in) is just a black screen since the latest patch.

    - Track Central still kicks me back into the main screen instead to my last used search results.

    - It somehow feels like there is more stutter now than before, but that could be my imagination (I mostly played stadium events since the patch which are...not very optimized on the Switch anyway).

    - Game does not want to save the Helmet I equip (Open Beta Helmet). After every reboot of the game I have the basic starter helmet equipped. All other equipment changes are saved though.

Other Stuff the Patch changed that I noticed:
    - The Patch DID fix the Stadium Events for me, I finaly beat all 9 of them and unlocked the final track.

    - I FINALY get Ghosts from my friends if they have a better time than me without selecting them from the leaderboards and challanging their ghost in a 1 vs 1.

    - I like the transparancy effect when staying on a track for a short amount of time in the track selection. Makes finding Tracks from the same Stadium much easier (and yes, I know that you can just use the stadiums to "filter" the tracks).

    - I think got all my Lootbags that went missing back, but since I don't realy care for cosmetics I am not 100% sure on the amount I was missing.

So tell me: how much more goodwill should I put into Ubisoft / RedLynx? Mind you, I have bought the Gold Edition on Day 1 and I was going to 100% support RedLynx.
But breaking Replays, and in return breaking one of the absolute core mechanics of the game (I like to watch replays to get better) I am loosing faith in this game, and I don't think that this is just "bashing on a game". After all we as the community only want the very best from the team. I mean even bugs that got reported during the beta are still in the game...

I were gonna buy Trials Rising for Xbox One X today as it runs at 4K/60, but there is a list of bugs that still isn't fixed so i need to see what's fixed in next patch first
These bugs are sadly mostly unknown to Redlynx, so i wonder if they will be fixed at all.
