Rising is a down grade from fusion

Don't get me wrong i love rising but performance wise it really sucks and a massive down grade from fusion. Constantly crashing the inventory duplication bug. Ridiculous loading times. Terrible progression system. No ranking for multi player and lack of tracks. I really hope they come out with a patch to fix all this because i want to see this game rise to the top. Its just sad that a game that came out over 5 years ago on ps3 runs hundred times better. If it was a live service that would explain all the problems.

The game isn’t even a month old, and it shows little signs of life.

There’s some great track art and design in Rising, but in nearly every other aspect, the game is a total ****show.

The great tracks are the ONLY reason I’m still playing. The shoddy performance, the load times, the inbred UI, all the bugs, and utterly depressing track central are more than enough to bury the game to a more casual fan, though.

It's been a constant 60fps for me on PC, and I haven't seen any inventory bugs. The worst I've seen are that I stopped getting level up lootboxes a while ago, the game never remembers I equipped the Squirrel helmet, and every time I exit there's a popup to say the game has crashed.

"lack of tracks" you say? What? Fusion had 40 Trials tracks. Rising has 76 Trials tracks. 76 > 40. In fact, 76 >>> 40. It's nearly twice as many. How many tracks are you expecting for $25? 1,000? 5,000?

Fusion is just a bunch of TC tracks now. Not much replay value to them. MP will be much better on Rising when the Seasons start. I dont think a lot of people remember Fusion at Launch and how bad it was, not even MP for a year.

In its current state yes I'd have to agree that the overall package is not as good as fusion is now, but fusion was terrible at the start too, it might not have had as many problems but then it wasn't as big of a game as rising. In time I think rising will be far superior once all patches and updates are done

This game is so mutch better then fusion. The art direction alone is 100x better. And fix some ghost options, a couple of patches this game will be on par with Evolution

We’ve been through this song and dance 5 years ago with fusion’s release. Once again they’ve blown their first impression. One day, Rising MIGHT reach its potential, maybe. But, by that point, no one will be left to care... just like fusion.

When all the freaky bugs and annoyances get fixed, and they are absurd in numbers at this point, this game will knock every other trials game out of the park. But that really is reliant on TC being fixed first and foremost as that's gonna be the heartbeat of the game once most people are done with career.

Optimization-wise, personally i had zero issues with Rising. It was nowhere near that smooth with Fusion on release. Bugs on the other hand, yeah they certainly have to be adressed first, before talking about the best Trials game out there. It will be by far though, when that happens.

I stopped playing much on the official tracks, expecting to see what will happen with those crates we aren't getting after 80+ level. So i spend most of my time in TC. Even if it's a bit of a mess in there, people create so many cool things, i wouldn't forgive myself even if i miss a single one of them. :P Ok at least most of them, since each time i load my customized search or upvoted tracks (favorites are completely broken, loads only 60 of them and stops there all the time), it's random if it will load all, some or none of them.

I didn't rate Fusion so I cant comment as far as that goes, but the core gameplay is good as ever imo. However, it seems like RL almost don't care, the passion is there in the tracks, but all the other stuff is just nonsense. The menus are awful, finding a track is just a PITA most of the time, and TC is unfathomable how its not even as good as Evo! They have a RL pick section and 2 weeks after release haven't even bothered to put anything in it, it's just careless and looks like they don't even care what people think of their commitment to their own game. I went into that section thinking to myself "lets see what cool stuff they picked out from whats been put up so far" and left thinking "damn, they don't even care enough to put any effort into a category that they chose to add into their game, which requires solely input from them". Its unprofessional, and a shame. Im sure in Evo they had some tracks in there from their own devs in comparison.
