My character's appearance was randomly changed after logging out... | Forums

My characters face has been changing back and forth, I noticed when I logged in his face looked different then what I original chose but I knew the bug existed and ignored it, I then noticed during a cut scene that he looked completely normal again and after the cut scene he was back to normal but then I died during a mission and his face was reverted back to the bugged state.

My character's face was also changed to female default 1. At a glance, it looks like everything not associated with the facial preset and customizing is intact. Hairstyle + color, Tattoo, facepaint and the like. I noticed the change when logging on after today's maintenance. I had unlocked and tried out the barber a few hours beforehand.

My facial features and skin color has changed to the default i believe. Didnt use the barber at all, level 15. Just changed after installing this patch. Ps4.

Same thing happened to me today, before the maintenance and not visiting the barber. Facepaint, scar, tattoos, hairstyle and hair colour stayed the same. It's her face that changed to the default option. Logging out and back in didn't resolve the issue nor did restarting the game. Hope this gets fixed soon.

I went from 45 ish white male to jason mammoa with an afro and support said relog after a day and a half and hasnt responded to me again. If someone would just say hey we are gonna let everyone redo their character soon after we fix it it would be okay.

You're not alone.. mods have said they're investigating but I haven't seen it anywhere under "known issues".

Happened to me after talking to the barber, didn't look at any hairstyles just spoke to him. Other clan members have had appearance change before getting to barber.

Im the same, happened last friday was lvl29, now on wt3 and no change after re-logging several times. Currently wearing a hunter mask to hide it but im a massive immersion nerd and ive started an alt character 🤦🏼*♂️
