[QoL] UI fuzzy effect and screen going yellow when switching to signature weapon

These two have to be my biggest annoyances for Division 2 at the moment, and I am appalled.

    (1) Each and every time I open the inventory, it pulses 3 times, skips a beat, then pulses for 8 times taking a full 3 seconds before it settles down.

    (2) Each and every time I switch to my signature weapon, the whole screen goes fades to yellow and back.

Why? Could we please have options to turn these off? They are persistent annoyances that I can certainly do without.

FYI, the yellow flash comes from your icon on the backpack, that shines when you switch to the specialized weapon. It seems to notify you (and possibly others) that you will use it now. But yea, I could play without the blurrying of the HUD in certain situations. EMP is one thing, just for whatever reasons another.

You mean only the backpack icon is supposed to shine? I have this whole screen effect:

    And in video:

This was taken after I logged off for a couple of hours, and then logged in, found that the effect doesn't happen without signature ammo, went and fought some enemies to get the ammo, and then recorded the footage.

I really hope this is a bug that will go away. I can't imagine doing combat with this.

    ----

Oh and the inventory fuzz has gone away, now it's back to what it was during leveling. I guess I ran into a bug. Wish I had kept the footage to show how ridiculous it was.

The blurry/strobing UI effect is just horrible, strains the eyes everytime i want to open the manus. please make it a toggle in the options or something.

This, so much, the UI flickering is making me nauseous pretty quickly because we have to open up the inventory quite frequently, and obviously the first thing you do is look at what you want to do (Say I want to change gun, I look at my weapon slots) and then the screen starts flickering, straining your eyes (and flashing you) while you're focused.

Right now, I can't play more than 90 minutes because after that I start getting nauseous. Yesterday I tried to play more with a friend but simply physically couldn't so I played some other game instead.

Please Ubisoft, give us the option to disable that, I know it you want it to look cool, but it's actually damaging.

A great many of us have been complaining about this since beta. The out of focus blurry effect and the UI flashes effect a lot of people. FPS motion sickness is very bad in this game due to the poor UI effects. I dont know how any crew lead would ever allow a dev to put these effects in a game. Its my hope enough people complain that they will say ok we'll make a toggle for our ugly effect. I had to cancel my preo order because of this and wont re buy the game unless that happens though. Im not paying 60 dollars to make myself feel sick to my stomach.

Okay the UI menu noise is back for me. This time I have footage:

It happens even when I'm just switching between Inventory and Stats, which is what I would do when building a loadout, to see the talent requirements all summarized in one page.

And then here's the noise in the shooting range in White House, when accessing Stash and when entering Inventory:

Please stop this. I have a feeling that the noise isn't supposed to last this much each time. And if this is a lore design waiting for players to find out its reason, please redesign it. Hidden puzzles should not actively frustrate players incessantly.

    Feature not a bug

I think the fuzzy or glitchy UI happens when u are near items, special interactions, and Easter eggs. Think of it like interference... As In my experience, which fades away as I walk away in any direction.

All that said I still have not been able to find an actual item that supports these theories. So I'm just spitballing here.

That and many other f-u-c-k-i-n-g ****ty things would never happen if someone from the devs would play this game atleast for one hour.

Well, same here. I have a feeling that I get a headache because of this blurry UI effect.
