    Can't get past setup

    Hello,
I download Division 2 on Xbox One. When I first open it up, it downloads and installs a patch, then crashes. When I go back in, it takes to me to setup, but when I get to the Setup | Extras page and click A to finish, nothing happens. I've tried to power cycle the Xbox which doesn't help. What's going on?

    Hey cmacom,

Just to double check, are you holding the A button down to finish as clicking it is not enough to progress past this screen?

If this doesn't work, please let us know so we can take a more in depth look, thanks!

I checked to make sure I have enough memory. Made sure I'm pressing/holding the correct buttons. Made sure I'm up to date on software. What else can be done other than reinstalling

    Hi PR0PPANGLESH,

We're sorry you've been encountering that.

Just to confirm, the game is not frozen at this point, it just won't let you progress?

Do you have an alternative controller that you could test to see if the same thing happens?

We would also advise clearing the consoles cache, which will clear the temporary files. You can do this by turning off the console, unplugging it, waiting a minute, plugging it back in and turning it on again.

Same issue here. Won't let me complete the setup. Yes, I'm holding A.

    Sorry to hear that, gsweater.

Could you confirm if you have power cycled your console and tried another controller, if possible?

As mentioned above, we would also advise clearing the console's cache, which will clear the temporary files. You can do this by turning off the console, unplugging it, waiting a minute, plugging it back in and turning it on again.

...or by resetting your console "the hard way" by pressing and holding the power button on the console until it's shutting down.
